The last few months have brought both happiness and sorrow for R&B diva Kelly Rowland.

Indeed, the singer gave birth to son Titan Jewell in November, yet is sadly grieving the loss of her mother Doris Rowland Garrison who passed away earlier this month.

Understandably silent of late, Rowland returned to Instagram today and uploaded the shot above with the caption:

As reported, the singer/actress is the latest addition to the hit BBC1 show after she was signed up to replace a departing Kylie Minogue.

Due to hit British screens on January 10th, the show see the ‘Testosterone’ belter sit alongside fellow coaches will.i.am, Tom Jones, and Ricky Wilson.

The good news train just stopped at K. Michelle’s station.

Though failing to debut at #1, the singer’s brand new album ‘Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart’ opened with sales of 83,404 units this week, debuting at #4 on the ‘Billboard 200.’

Standing tall as the highest selling R&B album in the country this week, the album’s numbers have seen outperform Pop releases launched by ‘AKA’ singer Jennifer Lopez, ‘Heartbreaker’ performer Mariah Carey, ‘Wiggle’ sensation Jason Derulo and the ever  ‘Fancy’ Iggy Azalea, all of whom failed to see the first week sales of their latest studio albums match hers.

In other chart news, Nicki Minaj will be pleased to learn that her new single ‘Only‘ now sits at #12 on the ‘Billboard Hot 100’, rising 20 spots in the last seven days.

This, adding a fresh pair of legs to the record she holds for being the only female rapper to have appeared in the ‘Hot 100’s Top Twenty as many times as she has.

Her latest chart win comes as global sales of her latest studio album ‘The Pinkprint‘ are set to push her overall album sales closer to the 8 million sold worldwide milestone.

Her global album sales may find themselves nearing the 8 million mark, but it’s unlikely that fact would have been any comfort to Nicki Minaj today, no doubt meaning all of nothing when she broke down during a radio interview Power 105.1’s Angie Martinez.

Taking to the radio personality’s show to promote her new album ‘The Pinkprint’, Minaj surprised listeners when she began to speak openly about her relationship with Safaree Samuels, the A&R consultant she had previously said was a close friend.

With Fifth Harmony‘s new single ‘Sledgehammer’ on the brink of becoming their biggest hit at radio thus far, the quintet are pushing hard with their promotional efforts.

Normani, Ally, Lauren, Camila, and Dinah delivered a solid showing of the Meghan Trainor penned track on the ‘VH1 Big Morning Buzz’ show today.

The performance and the single precede the release of the group’s debut album ‘Reflection’, which struts into stores on January 26th via Epic Records.

As two of today’s most powerful voices, it was fitting that Jessie J and Jennifer Hudson were tapped to perform on the finale of NBC smash ‘The Voice’.

Both ladies offered renditions of their respective new singles ‘Masterpiece’ and ‘It’s Your World’ and were joined by finalists Chris Jamison and Damien.
