Tis the season of giving and Beyonce is in a generous mood.

If the last year has relayed anything, it’s that the ‘7/11’ songstress is conducting promotion for her self-titled visual album on her own terms. Out of the box best characterises her approach – a point illustrated in her plug for the new Platinum Edition of the LP on ‘The Real’.

For while not appearing on Fox’s freshman talker, the superstar gifted personalised copies of the beefed-up re-release to each of the shows hosts.

Fifth Harmony usher in the holiday season with the video for their remake of Mariah Carey‘s festive classic ‘All I Want For Christmas’.

Unwrapped moments ago, the visual is pulled from Epic Records’ new compilation EP ‘I’ll Be Home For Christmas’ – which is out now.

The song and its parent project precedes the ladies debut album ‘Reflection’, which struts into stores on January 26th 2015.

45,467 music lovers picked up Beyonce‘s latest body of work in the last week, showing their support for the extended version of her self-titled new album and handing it a Top Ten spot on this week’s ‘Billboard 200.’

Fortunately for the singer, track equivalent sales and streams pushed the album’s opening figure well over the 70,000 mark, with ‘Beyonce Stats‘ reporting that it opened with a commendable 71,000 units.

Unfortunately, not even the continued success of her latest single ‘Beg For It’ could help Iggy Azalea‘s EP ‘Reclassified’, which failed to crack the Top 50 after selling less than 13,000 units in its opening week.

Here’s hoping her second studio album doesn’t fare as poorly.

Oft accused of stealing music made by African-American artists to create his own, the legend that is Elvis Presley has been compared to rappers Iggy Azalea and Eminem this year.

Who made the comparison? ‘Crooked Smile’ rapper J. Cole, who blasted the pair with “culture vulture” claims in a song named ‘Fire Squad‘, pulled from his latest studio album.

The Material Girl may be plagued by leaks of new material from her forthcoming 13th studio album, but if reports are to be believed, her pockets definitely ain’t hurting as a result thereof.

Proof of this can be found by perusing the “World’s Richest Recording Artists” list.  With names like Dr. Dre, Beyonce, Mariah Carey and Paul McCartney ruling the tally’s upper rankings, above all the aforementioned sits one name – Madonna.

With a whopping net worth of $800 million (dispelling rumors that the diva is a billionaire), the songstress’s foray into music and movies has assisted with building an empire that towers over competitors.  A move easily attributed to the diva’s ability to keep her name on the tongue of the masses, as evidenced by a topless photoshoot to accompany the feature story of her recent Interview magazine stint.

Is the Queen of Hip Hop Soul gearing up for yet another reign atop the Billboard 200 with her new album ‘The London Sessions’?

We don’t know yet, but what we do know is that her bids to ensure such come aboard a jaw dropping schedule that sees her making many-a-stop in support of the project.  Already dropping by ‘The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon’ to perform the album’s fan favorite ‘Therapy’ (seen below), the Grammy winning diva also took to the couch of ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ this morning to dish on the new set.
