Since the success of her breakout hit ‘Fancy,’ the lens has truly been on Iggy Azalea.
Despite launching a host of hits from her debut album ‘The New Classic,’ rap’s new girl on the block has not exactly received the warmest of welcomes from the genre’s current tenants. In just one year she’s broken Lil Kim‘s record for longest run at #1 on the Hot 100 and even bested nemesis Nicki Minaj by receiving an American Music Award win and Grammy nod during her first official era.
Be that as it may, Azalea’s wins are consistently questioned (as is her credibility). While some have been led some to label her this generation’s Vanilla Ice, the Aussie rapstress seems to take the scrutiny in stride.
