Issa Rae is hot on the promotional trail for the fifth and final season of ‘Insecure’ and her latest stop was The Breakfast Club on Power 105.1.

With ‘Insecure’s fifth and final season set to kick off this Sunday (October 24), Issa Rae stopped by the Tamron Hall Show to lift the lid on what it feels like to end the hit HBO series.

Speaking candidly, the creative force explained that she feels she and her team have told a complete story – one that was always intended to run for the five seasons it has.

The super-private star also opened up about her recent marriage and waxed honest about whether or not the rumors of an ‘Insecure’ movie are true.

The tight race to the Hot 100’s championship this week may have seen Lil Nas X‘s ‘Industry Baby’ handed a silver medal (as we reported here), but that hasn’t stopped the singer-rapper from continuing to vie for the top spot.

His latest bid comes via a behind the scenes look at the ‘Montero’ tune’s controversial, Jack Harlow-assisted music video.

‘Dilemma’ rapper Nelly has had just that on his hands with former friend/St. Lunatic groupmate, Ali.

The two made headlines in the past for a dispute stemming from Ali’s belief that Nelly (born Cornell Haynes Jr.) ‘hustled the group’ out of airtime and finances in their heyday, an accusation the latter vehemently denied.

And while some thought the beef between Ali and the ‘Hot in Herre’ hitmaker had cooled, the former – after clocking what he perceived as a subliminal diss – took to Instagram Monday (October 11) to lay out even more allegations against Haynes, including claims he acted as the star’s ghostwriter for his now Diamond-certified debut album, ‘Country Grammar.’

Playing games is exactly what some Twitter commenters are accusing fans of Summer Walker of doing when they asserted the 25-year-old – who boasts only one studio album to her credit to date – is the ‘Queen of R&B for her generation.’

What’s more, the measure was co-signed by Walker, who took to social media to repost the praise.

Lil Nas X may have lit up the streaming scene with his debut album ‘Montero,’ but he isn’t resting on his laurels.

Instead, the Pop provocateur is pounding the promotional pavement in support of the LP.

And his latest stop was BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge. 

Backed by a full band, Nas delivered rousing renditions of his new single ‘That’s What I Want,’ ‘Montero’ album jam ‘Dead Right Now,’ and a cover of Dolly Parton‘s ‘Jolene.’

As Justin Timberlake puts the final touches on his hotly-anticipated, yet-titled sixth solo studio album (as we reported here), his loyal fans are still clinging to his past hits to tide themselves over.
