The tight race to the Hot 100’s championship this week may have seen Lil Nas X‘s ‘Industry Baby’ handed a silver medal (as we reported here), but that hasn’t stopped the singer-rapper from continuing to vie for the top spot.
His latest bid comes via a behind the scenes look at the ‘Montero’ tune’s controversial, Jack Harlow-assisted music video.
Nearly three months after the premiere of the clip helmed by famed music video director Christian Breslauer, the behind the scenes showing invites fans to get a birds eye view of the visual’s most eye-popping moments – including that infamous shower choreography and more.

‘Dilemma’ rapper Nelly has had just that on his hands with former friend/St. Lunatic groupmate, Ali.
The two made headlines in the past for a dispute stemming from Ali’s belief that Nelly (born Cornell Haynes Jr.) ‘hustled the group’ out of airtime and finances in their heyday, an accusation the latter vehemently denied.
And while some thought the beef between Ali and the ‘Hot in Herre’ hitmaker had cooled, the former – after clocking what he perceived as a subliminal diss – took to Instagram Monday (October 11) to lay out even more allegations against Haynes, including claims he acted as the star’s ghostwriter for his now Diamond-certified debut album, ‘Country Grammar.’
Playing games is exactly what some Twitter commenters are accusing fans of Summer Walker of doing when they asserted the 25-year-old – who boasts only one studio album to her credit to date – is the ‘Queen of R&B for her generation.’

Needless to say, it ignited a firestorm of debate.
Lil Nas X may have lit up the streaming scene with his debut album ‘Montero,’ but he isn’t resting on his laurels.

And his latest stop was BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge.
Backed by a full band, Nas delivered rousing renditions of his new single ‘That’s What I Want,’ ‘Montero’ album jam ‘Dead Right Now,’ and a cover of Dolly Parton‘s ‘Jolene.’

Evidence of this was served recently when the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) took to press to announce the GRAMMY winner’s 2018 critically polarizing album, ‘Man of the Woods,’ recently cleared the threshold for Platinum certification.
