Over the years, ‘The Star Spangled Banner’ has been stretched, rolled, curled, and remixed by the likes of Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey, who in the process have created a new standard of what a rendition of the song “should” sound like.

Kelly Rowland donned a bold black gown at FOX Golden Globes After-Party last night, yet still sparkled brightly.

The child of Destiny, whose new show Chasing Destiny premieres on BET in April, wowed as she arrived at the star-studded gala. She notably starred in FOX’s flagship drama ‘Empire’ last year for six episodes as the mother of Terrence Howard’s character Luscious Lyon.

Ms. Kelly’s face is one that will be in the spotlight amply over the next few months, because beyond her the talent-search venture, she’s also gearing up for the release of fresh music.

Will Smith continues to promote his latest movie ‘Concussion’ and teamed up with ‘Variety‘ for a very special edition of their ‘Actors on Actors’ feature.

There, he quizzed and was quizzed by ‘Sicario’ actor Benecio Del Tero and spoke openly when quizzed on his preparation for the role, his reasons for joining the entertainment industry and reveal how infidelity in his relationship changed him…for the better.

It really is an interesting watch.

If you thought yesterday’s fiery Twitter exchange was the end of the beef between rapstress Nicki Minaj and reality TV starlet Farrah Abraham, you thought wrong.
