Diddy‘s ‘Revolt‘ invited R&B singer Elijah Blake to its manor earlier this week, calling on the star to share details on his forthcoming EP ‘Drift’ before its release later on this year.

While there, the performer weighed in on his own single ‘6′, detailing his physically abusive childhood and how it affected the man he has become today, now determined to give a voice to the gentlemen of the world.

Last month, Jazmine Sullivan partnered with NPR to premiere her brand new number ‘Stupid Girls’, doing so during her time in New Orleans for this year’s Essence Festival.

Performed in a barber shop that’s been in business since 1948, the song follows the unveiling of her comeback single ‘Dumb’, both pulled her third studio album ‘Reality Show’, due out on September 30th.

The singer-songwriter is set to star in the network’s newest show ‘Fix My Choir’ alongside Gospel star Deitrick Haddon.

Together the pair will trek the US quite literally mending the music and melees of promising choirs across the country.

One week has passed since Danity Kane dramatically broke up for the second time.

And though it appears the ladies are done for good following a violent studio assault, their ever-loyal fans have been holding out for news on their completed third album.

The set, which spawned Summer sizzler ‘Lemonade’, was due for release later this year and many had hoped it’d still be released as a “Thank You” of sorts to their supporters.

Silence has generally greeted such requests, however today saw member Dawn Richard offer an answer.

Motherhood may have kept Fergie out of the spotlight for a minute, but the Black Eyed Peas front-woman isn’t being idle on the music front.

As previously reported, the ‘London Bridge’ singer is hard at work on her second solo album, which’ll serve as the follow-up to her wildly successful debut ‘The Duchess’.

Released back in 2006 (where is time going?), the set birthed five top five singles in the US – all of which have sold over 2 millions copies each in the US.

Needless to say, any such follow-up has it’s work cut out for it.

Over the last seven years, That Grape Juice has established itself as one of the net’s most renowned sources for Urban Pop music. Indeed, it’s become trademark for us to shine light on artists – both known and on the rise. This week sees us spotlight the latter, as we kick off the first ever Freshly Squeezed Week.

Each day of this week has seen us introduce a talented new name and today sees us conclude with rapper…Shawn “EROCK” Sutton!

Though new on the music scene, the Brooklyn bred talent is no stranger to the spotlight. Indeed, his striking look caught the eye of many a modelling agent – who went on to book him in campaigns for the likes of Givenchy, Ted Baker, and most recently Rihanna‘s River Island clothing line.

What’s more, he’s starred in music videos by both Kelly Rowland (‘Motivation’ and ‘Ice’) and Beyonce (‘Superpower’).

However, standing beside stars has only motivated EROCK to intensify the brightness of his own. As such, he’s pressing on full-fledged with his foray into the world of Hip-Hop.

Odd to some (see: model-turned-MC), rapping is by no means a new phenomena for the lyricist – who’s been rhyming since he was 16-years-old.

Keen to share his calling with the masses, EROCK serves up ‘The Runner’ as his debut effort. Flavorsome, yet hard-hitting, take a listen below…
