Conceived by Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry and executive produced by Eva Longoria, the spicy dramedy follows the lives of five maids who work for the wealthy residents of Beverly Hills.

Beyonce‘s much hyped HBO concert series kicked off last night.

As reported, the 10-week mini-series christened ‘Beyoncex10’ will see a performance from the diva’s ‘Mrs Carter Show World Tour’ air in the five minutes before hit show ‘True Blood’ begins.

The first up was ‘Ghost/Haunted’ – which is lifted from King B’s self-titled Double Platinum album.

In life, Whitney Houston was renown for not holding back her thoughts on any and everything. And it appears it’s a trait that has passed on to daughter Bobbi Kristina.

The 21-year-old has lashed out at acclaimed actress Angela Bassett – following comments the latter made about not casting Bobbi in the upcoming Lifetime biopic on Whitney that she’s directing.

While fans of ‘Fancy’ rapper Iggy Azalea had expected her to pick up the award yesterday evening, last night saw rival Nicki Minaj dash her dreams of being named the ‘BET Awards’ ‘Best Female Hip Hop Artist’ when she nabbed the gong for the fifth consecutive year.

What happened next? The delivery of an acceptance speech that served to shock the show’s audience which saw Minaj claim she feared would she die last week and take “subtle” aim at female rappers who employ ghost writers to pen their jams.
