Diva supreme Mariah Carey is hot on the promo trail for her upcoming new album.
The set, which serves as the singer’s 14th studio effort, will – as reported – be released in a unique “all at once” capacity, with its title, artwork, and music all rolled out digitally first, with a physical edition arriving a week later.
To plug the release, which comes on the heels of a slew of unsuccessful singles, the star beams a-front of The Observer – a subsidiary of UK newspaper The Guardian.
During the insightful piece (which you can read by clicking here), it’s confirmed that Carey (who turned up 3 hours late for the interview) is indeed eyeing a “late May” release date for the “surprise” project. Although, we here at TGJ, wouldn’t be shocked if this was a ruse of sorts to throw folk off.
