For fans of Frank Miller‘s ‘Sin City’ series, the above date marks the spot for the release of its hotly anticipated sequel…’Sin City: A Dame To Kill For.’

Hitting British cinemas seven days later, the movie kicked off its promotional campaign with the release of a one minute long teaser, shedding light on the four plot lines its set to tackle under the direction of Robert Rodriguez, and performances put on by Jessica Alba, Bruce Willis, Rosario Dawson and WME‘s Lady GaGa.

Cop a gander at J. Hud!

While her new, Timbaland-assisted single ‘Walk It Out’ makes moves on the net, powerhouse singer Jennifer Hudson is still making moves to the studio to put the finishing touches on its yet titled parent album.  But, as we await news on the project, Hudson took to Brown Shoe Co.’s 100th year anniversary in New York tonight to wow a star-studded crowd.  Bumping into fellow hitmaker Nelly, the singer upload the snap (seen above) to her Instagram moments ago with the caption:

Had a good lil time tonight performing for brown shoe company 100th anniversary . Even Nelly came by to chat with me. Nice guy! #walkitout.”

The post follows news that the ‘Spotlight’ singer will be sharing the spotlight of the 2014 LA PRIDE Festival with controversial rapstress Azealia Banks. See more on that here.

 Pharrell Williams’ ‘Happy’ may not exactly be warming the hearts of its competition, but we’re willing to bet its keeping a smile on his face.

As the song’s grip on the Hot 100 refuses to loosen, other crooners are easing their way into the tally’s top 10 with hopes of dethroning the longtime chart champion.  The tune will see its forthcoming weeks try to fend off advances from the likes of Chris Brown’s “Loyal,” Justin Timberlake’s “Not a Bad Thing,” and a surprising rebound by “Talk Dirty” divo Jason Derulo.

Fresh from news that she’d landed her own BET talk show, the multi-talented Keke Palmer fixes her gaze on music once more with the tune ‘Animal’.

Set to kick off the official soundtrack to the Drew Barrymore-produced horror film of the same name (due in June), the tune comes as the latest of Palmer’s releases that have appeared on the net in recent days.

His first move? A reworked rendition of John Legend‘s smash hit ‘All of Me‘, placed an arm in arm with a mellow take on his very own ‘Sing For Me’, showcasing the voice undeniably built for Gospel but “harnessed” enough to woo the Pop disciples his music is yet to win over.

As two of Hip-Hop’s most exciting newcomers, all eyes are on how the numbers are looking for Iggy Azalea‘s debut effort ‘The New Classic’ and Future‘s sophomore set ‘Honest’.

Both LP’s blasted into stores yesterday after months of delays (and in Azalea’s case, years).

And while their fans are no doubt elated, one has to wonder what effect (if any) the push-backs have had on each project.
