With a sound that marries ‘Urban’ and ‘Pop’ perfectly, Iggy Azalea speeds towards the ‘Billboard Hot 100’ in a lane undisturbed by any other Female Rap newbie this year, carved three years after the world was first introduced to her here.
Now, after showing up to Pop’s party with ‘Fancy‘, the ‘Problematic‘ star gives her naysayers ample reason to run for the hills with the release of ‘Black Widow’, a ‘Dark Horse’-inspired jam featuring international Pop sensation Rita Ora.
Quite interestingly, unlike the bulk of Iggy‘s material, it’s ‘Widow’s hook that stands as the weakest part of the song, with the Rapper’s verses packing a flow rich in flavour, humour and the personality she no doubt hopes will push sales of its supporting album ‘The New Classic.’
Why we just picked up our copy of the LP?
