‘We Fall Down’, ‘Speak To My Heart’, and ‘Stand’ are just a few of the gospel titles imparted over the last two decades that continue to stand the test of time.  Gospel legend Donnie McClurkin, the critically acclaimed creator of all three tunes, boasts mastery of that very same test.

With radio, television, and music all lining his decorative resume, the Grammy winner continues to conquer many-a-media format. Then, just when fans thought he had no new ground to claim, McClurkin revealed news of a ‘Duets’ album (in stores March 4th).

Now, speaking exclusively to That Grape Juice, Pastor Donnie dishes on the project (which features Dorinda Clark Cole, Mary Mary, Tye Tribbett, Marvin Sapp, and more), the highly anticipated 7th season of BET’s ‘Sunday Best’, rumors of starting his own reality show, and so much more.

Find out what Donnie McClurkin had to say about these topics below:

Grammy-nominated rapstress Da Brat continues to feel the firm hand of the law after her infamous nightclub showdown with former Atlanta Falcons cheerleader Shayla Stevens.

Robin_Thicke__1743709a

‘Blurred Lines’ beau Robin Thicke is seeing lines of headlines these days as reports swarm the net about his separation from actress/wife Paula Patton.

Indeed, after a nearly decade long marriage, the duo called it quits earlier this week after months of sources close to the couple claiming there had long been friction between them.

While some cite Thicke’s playboy ways, others say that unforgettable 2013 MTV VMA performance with Miley Cyrus is where the rift began. Nevertheless, that hasn’t stopped the ‘I Need Love’ singer from speaking publicly about his desire to reconcile with Patton.

As more and more entertainers embrace and engage in all  social media has to offer, recent years have seen the ‘value’ of ‘fan opinions’ rise as music lovers shape and mould trends with comments left on message boards, Facebook, Twitter and the like.

Coming with its own set of pros and cons, it wouldn’t be too fantastic to believe that the camps behind said acts comb through these comments, pulling what they will from them for market research purposes (see Ariana GrandeYours Truly’ fiasco).

So, with all of the above in mind, last night saw That Grape Juice.Net pose a question on  our official Facebook page, sparking a debate that continued through the night and well into this morning.

What it was?

Kanye West may need a miracle of biblical proportions to resurrect sales of current album ‘Yeezus’, but that hasn’t stopped the rapper from taking the project to the big screen.

Moments ago, West unwrapped a trailer for a ‘Yeezus’ movie, which is set for a theatrical release.

While no further details about the project were released, one has to wonder if it can spark renewed interest in its parent album – which has sold just 640,000 copies in the US since release last June.

Cop a gander of Mya!

The R&B maven strikes the fiercest of poses front of BE Magazine‘s March/April 2014.

Currently hard at work work on new material, That Grape Juice caught up with the singer recently who dished about her hiatus and comeback.

Speaking on whether she’d sign with a major label again, the Grammy winner told us:

“It’s always important that I create music independently first, so that it represents who I really am. With many forces involved that don’t quite know who you are as an artist it can get a little tricky and interference can possibly affect the integrity or quality of the project. But at the end of the day, I’d love to be married to the right partnership whether that’s a label, whether that’s a brand, whether that’s an investor.”

We’re amped for Ms. Mya’s return…are you?
