Tamar Braxton has long worn many hats. From reality star to host to actress.

Music, however, is where she continues to shine most.

The multihyphenate maven recently heeded her fans’ request for new material with the release of her stirring single ‘Changed.’

And the response has been impressive.

As of writing, the cut – which was produced by Donald ‘haZEL” Sales’ and written by Braxton and Nye the Songwrita, is #2 song on R&B/Urban AC radio and #17 on mainstream Hip-Hop/R&B Radio.

To further light a match under the song, Braxton took vocal flight with a live performance on the ‘Rickey Smiley Morning Show.’

However, unlike our other segments – Retro Rewind, TGJ Replay, and From The Vault – The Pop Stop is the most in-depth look at Pop songs that may have flown under the radar over the last week that you should know, rather they be from music’s biggest stars or those on the rise.

This week, we want to highlight cuts from Troye Sivan, Slayyter, D.O., and Chappell Roan .

Released Friday (September 22), the 19-track set – the follow-up to 2020’s ‘All Monsters Are Human‘ – roars onto digital shelves after the unveiling of a slew of music videos in it support including the #1 hit ‘Scooch,’ ‘Tennessee,’ ‘Wherever the D May Land,’ ‘You,’ and more.

Bolstered by a North American tour named after the LP, ‘Problem’ is designed to tide the singer’s beloved fans (affectionately called #Rebels) over until she puts the final touches on her highly teased, forthcoming Country effort (due in the coming months).

Despite marking her most controversial and polarizing era yet, ‘Scarlet‘ – the latest from rapstress Doja Cat – has still managed to weave a web of buzz that’s made it one of the year’s most highly anticipated efforts.

Led by the top 40 hit ‘Attention,’ the 15-track project’s true claim to fame is the Hot 100-topping ‘Paint the Town Red‘ – which not only comes as a career first (her inaugural solo chart-topper) but uniquely owns the title for being the 2023’s first Hip-Hop holder of the tally’s top spot.

Undoubtedly hoping that response is mirrrored for its parent set, ‘Scarlet’ crawls to chart battle on the wings of additional supportive singles ‘Demons’ and an accompanying music video for the LP’s cut ‘Agora Hills.’

“Front seat chillin with the window down / I be ten toes down on the dash, getting fast food / Hope you can handle the heat / Put your name in the streets / Get used to my fans looking at you,” she raps in the Hannah Lux Davis-directed clip.

Stream ‘Scarlet’ inside courtesy of Apple Music and Spotify and peep the ‘Agora’ visual as well.

Having announced her 16th studio album, ‘Tension,’ all the way back in May, Australian Pop royal Kylie Minogue had her global fans – affectionately called #Lovers – feeling the LP’s namesake in anticipation of the project.

“Unlike my last two albums, there wasn’t a ‘theme’, it was about finding the heart or the fun or the fantasy of that moment and always trying to service the song,” Minogue said of the opus which marks her first studio effort since 2020’s ‘Disco.’

Blasting into public consciousness with the “song of the summer” ‘Padam Padam,’ the ElectoPop-laden set – later supported by a stunning music video for its title track – does not boast a high guest performer count across its 11 tracks (only Oliver Heldens on ’10 Out of 10′), but the true star power may be found across its production credits thanks to names like Duck Blackwell, Biff Stannard, Jackson Foote, and Lostboy.

Arriving alongside its deluxe edition (which boasts three additional tracks), stream it in full inside courtesy of Apple Music and Spotify.
