Barely a month after wrapping up the ‘Sincerely For You World Tour,’ his latest international jaunt in support of the December 2022-released album ‘Sincerely for You,’ R&B sensation Jacquees is already back to business as supporting act for fellow Atlanta-reared stars Killer Mike and Jermaine Dupri.

For the latter, Jacquees joins forces aboard a Diesel Filmz-directed ‘Pick It Up‘ music video that sees them turn up at a Main Event.

“Then I start what you can’t / Texting me all them pictures / If I can’t touch it, then don’t send it / All that talking, I ain’t with it,” sings Jacquees on the JD and Bryan-Michael Cox-created cut.

For the former, the 29-year-old brings his instantly recognizable vocals to ‘Maynard Vignette‘ led by Mike, T.I., and JID.

“I’m a young, Black Maynard, mama gospel singer / Daddy dope slanger, born from the anger,” raps Mike in a salute to Atlanta and its famous mayor Maynard Jackson (who served in-role in the late 1970s and early 80s).

Drake may be heading toward the top of the charts with his new SZA-assisted single ‘Slime You Out,’ but he isn’t taking well to critique about the single from a certain Charlamagne Tha God.

The Breakfast Club anchor is renowned for delivering his unbridled opinion on…well…everything. And Drizzy’s latest number was no different.

Speaking on his podcast The Brilliant Idiots with Andrew Schulz, the presenter didn’t hold back in expressing his stance that the ‘For All The Dogs’ single effectively “came and went” with little fanfare. By “Drake” standards, at least.

Unimpressed, the Canadian rapper took to Instagram with a shady post and delete.

It’s happening!

Usher has finally landed “the” Super Bowl Halftime Show gig. To toast the news, this week’s From The Vault selection zooms in on his epic 2005 GRAMMY Awards performance, complete with a surprise appearance by the legendary James Brown.

For those who lived through it, it’s near-impossible to dispute how mind-blowingly massive the ‘Confessions’ era was: from popularity to charts, to critical acclaim. He was unmatched.

So, it was only fitting that the superstar nabbed 8 GRAMMY Award nominations in 2005, taking home three and delivering an unforgettable performance of the album’s final hit single ‘Caught Up.’

Crafted by Dre & Vidal, cut was yet another US Top 10 hit for Mr. Raymond, peaking at #8 on the Hot 100. With his funky entourage of dancers, Usher lit up the stage with his smooth dance moves and powerhouse vocals. That mic was indeed all the way on.

To cap it all off, the Godfather of Soul himself graced the stage, showcasing his legendary moves and vocals. It was a true meeting of musical titans in vivid technicolor!

While he never really faded from view, witnessing Usher’s “comeback” in recent times is a beautiful thing. If anyone deserves to reign atop the music world, it’s him.

Here’s to hoping that his new music matches the excitement of this moment. February can’t come soon enough – we’ve been eagerly waiting.

Destiny’s Child has a story just as legendary as the music that propelled the group to become one of the greatest of all time.

That legacy and the love between its members was celebrated last night (September 23) at the Houston stop of Beyonce‘s ‘Renaissance World Tour.’

For, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams were joined by founding members LeToya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson.

All rocked shimmery ensembles in toasting the theme of the show, which has become the highest-grossing tour by a female artist ever.

The collective attendance of the DC members at this particular concert was especially notable given that the group began its journey in the city.

Suffice it to say, this will only add to the desire to see a reunion of sorts from the beloved band.

Pending further updates on that, peep pics and clips below…
