Fans of rapper Nelly may have thought it was deja vu when they learned of his drug-related arrest this past weekend.

Indeed, just two years after being arrested for heroin and marijuana found on his bus, the 2000s hitmaker faced a similar fate in Tennessee recently when police found marijuana, ecstasy, and guns on his tour bus en route to Missouri.

After quickly being released on bond, his lawyer released a statement indicating confidence that he would be “cleared of all charges”  stemming from the incident.  Now, as a recent post to Instagram shows, Nelly shares his confidence.  Read his words below:

Mo’Nique has been making many a headline of late, however the actress is ready to recast the spotlight on her Oscar winning talent.

April 24th will bring with it the theatrical release of her latest movie ‘Blackbird,’ which has had critics buzzing for months.

Produced by both Mo’Nique and Isaiah Washington (who also stars), the coming-of-age film focusses on the trials of seventeen year old Randy and his tense family life, hidden sexuality, and discovery of self.

Budding divas Fifth Harmony continued to bloom this week on the ‘Kelly & Michael’ show.

Normani, Dinah, Camila, and co rocked the house with a titillating performance of current single ‘Worth It,’ the third to be released from debut album ‘Reflection.’

It appears their recently wrapped tour has polished their collective stage blazing ability; indeed, this perhaps may serve as one of the quintets best televised showings yet.

Drake’s time at Coachella came armed with more than that kiss from Madonna.

For, it also came packaged with a brand new jam from the ‘Jungle’ creator named ‘My Side’, released before he goes out on the ‘Jungle’ tour with Future.

The song is one of two tracks set to appear on the physical version of his latest album ‘If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late’, due out April 21st.

Ciara is breaking her silence.

The last few months have seen the singer in full-on promo mode for new album ‘Jackie,’ yet she’s been somewhat quiet about a number of topics – most notably the end of her relationship with rapper Future.

Today, all that that changed.

The ‘I Bet’ belter stopped by The Breakfast Club and readily spilled all.

For, while Charlamagne was not present, hosts DJ Envy and Angela Yee still stayed true to the show’s roots by asking the tough questions folk want answers to. And CiCi willingly obliged.

Pop maestro Jason Derulo has become quite the hit vendor in recent years.

It’s a trajectory that looks set to continue with new single ‘Want To Want Me,’ the lead single from forthcoming album ‘Everything Is 4’ (due June 2nd).

Currently sitting at #14 on the Billboard Hot 100, the track was dosed a boost this week when Derulo performed it live on the ‘Ellen’ show.

R&B chanteuse Ciara is covering all bases with current single ‘I Bet.’

Steadily rising on Urban radio, the melodic hit receives not one but two remixes – both of which feature on the deluxe edition of new album ‘Jackie’ (due May 4th).

The first, a Pop garnished version, has been christened the R3hab Remix, while the second is more Urban skewed and features fellow Atlanta star T.I.

With the release of Ciara‘s new album ‘Jackie’ strutting ever-nearer, the singer has unwrapped its official tracklist.

Due in stores May 4th, the Epic Records set is preceded  by Urban hit ‘I Bet’ and is set to arrive as the star hits the road for the ‘Jackie Tour.’

Producers on the project include Dr. Luke, Harmony Samuels, Diane Warren, Ester Dean, and Polow Da Don.

Controversial Queen of Pop Madonna is used to seeing her name pop up over headlines worldwide, but the last 24 hours has seen that feat accomplished for all the wrong reasons.

Taking to Coachella last night, the ‘Causing A Commotion’ singer did just that after she locked lips with rapper Drake – an incident that incited a media and viewer backlash.

Making her the pun of a number of ageist jokes as the rapper appeared to be less than pleased with her antic, he’s finally taken to Instagram to clear up any confusion about his response.
