As reported here, the ‘Bangerz’ beauty tapped Madge, the iconic pop star thrice her senior, for a hillbilly ho-down as part of her highly anticipated show on MTV tonight. With just 24 hours remaining until the premiere of Shakira and Rihanna‘s ‘Can’t Remember To Forget You’ video, the dynamite duo set pulses racing with this new still.

Ironically, the song itself has yet to blow up and is currently sitting outside of the iTunes 100 chart in the US. Will it rebound when its visual arrives? Watch this space!

‘Can’t Remember To Forget You’ is the lead release from Shakira’s self-titled Roc Nation debut, which hits stores on March 25th.

Kendrick+Lamar+2014+macklemore

In the wake of Macklemore & Ryan Lewis‘ multiple Grammy wins on Sunday night, many an artist and critic have weighed in. The explicit focus for most was the fact that the duo, who won four awards, bested favourite Kendrick Lamar in a number of Rap categories. And the puzzling chain of events that saw the Compton MC walk home empty-handed – despite being nominated for seven awards.

Even Macklemore chimed in, posting a text he sent Lamar confessing that “I wanted you to win”.

Noticeably silent, though, was Lamar himself. That is until now.
