Those who have already grown weary of news on Beyonce‘s fifth album should prepare themselves for yet another headache. For, in news that surfaced just moment’s ago, the singer’s self-titled effort has cemented itself as her biggest first week seller with sales set to exceed 600,000.
Yes, the aforementioned was already projected, but industry insiders have already confirmed that 550,000 of those digital items have already been sold. A feat that sees her top the first week sales of her 2006 effort ‘BDay’ (which debuted to the tune of 541,000 units sold in the first week).
As if that’s not enough, the movement has assured the songstress her fifth consecutive reign atop Billboard 200 – a first for any female singer to see her first five albums debut at number #1.
