Hollywood’s favorite cool guy Samuel L. Jackson may have recently told Playboy magazine that he’d never kiss a guy on screen, but that may soon change.

The 64-year-old actor is the latest star cast to the film adaptation of Stephen King‘s 2006 best-selling novel ‘Cell’ – an “apocalyptic horror novel about a man, expected to be played by John Cusack, who tries to find his son as a powerful signal broadcast to all cell phones turns the world into bloodthirsty monsters.” (source)

As for Jackson’s role, he’s expected to portray Tom McCourt – a middle-aged gay engineer and former soldier.  At time of reporting it is unknown if the director – ‘Paranormal Activity 2’s Tod Williams – will stick to the book’s portrayal of the character or if adjustments will be made.

With a career decorated with milestones, you’d think it difficult to continue a reign as strong as top-selling rapper Eminem has over a decade since his debut.  But, as the week has proven, Em may just be getting started.

As if earning the second best first week sales of the year with his new album ‘The Marshall Mathers LP 2’ (predicted 700k) wasn’t enough, the ‘Stan’ rapper now stands as the first and only solo artist in history to notch four top 20s simultaneously.  Such feat was accomplished this week when his latest number ‘The Monster’ – featuring ‘Disturbia’ damsel Rihanna – made its debut at #3 (his third highest debut to date).

And, while ‘Monster’ has done its part to scare away some of the Billboard Hot 100’s diva dominators (see:  Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus), one diva-in-training has yet to budge…Lorde.

Living up to her blockbuster hit ‘Royals’, the songstress continues her reign at #1 for a sixth week.  Find out how everyone else fared below:

Holding back the holiday cheer and serving up some holiday heartbreak, ‘She Can Have You’ acts as a yuletide ode to R&B past.  Tell us how you think she did:

Katy Perry‘s ‘Prism’ power continues to outshine the competition – a feat we expect to be a mainstay this award season.

For, after storming single and album charts alike with tunes like ‘Roar’ and ‘Dark Horse’ (and their parent album), the songstress can now boast leading the 2014 People Choice Award nominees with a whopping 5 nods.

Justin Timberlake, whose 2013 wasn’t too shabby either (see:  best selling album of the year, two #1 albums, and blockbuster tour), also notched 5 nods including listing in categories like Favorite Pop Artist and Favorite Song.

But, while top acts like Demi LovatoBruno Mars and One Direction follow with four nods a piece, some fans have griped about the absence of color (*cough cough*) in this year’s nominations list.  See it in full below:

Fans may say she’s down to earth, but if reports are anything to go by, she won’t be for long.

Lady Gaga, a singer who many would already consider “out there” for her eccentric stage shows and persona (with talent to match), is reportedly prepping for a performance in 2015 that will be “out of this world” in more ways than one…

More eager than ever to use the show’s platform to secure the full support of its audience, Christina Aguilera graced ‘The Voice’ with a brand new performance last night.

Her song of choice? ‘Say Something’, the ‘A Great Big World’ number she’s taken under wing since hearing it during an episode of ‘So You Think You Can Dance?’ last month.

Her singles may hit charts like wrecking balls, but her latest album can’t exactly claim the same.  To change that, our favorite Disney damsel turned serial twerker Miley Cyrus is looking to roll her hits ‘Wrecking Ball’ and ‘We Can’t Stop’ to a town near you.

Unveiled just moments ago, the songstress announced a massive North American tour in support of her latest Gold effort ‘Bangerz’.  Set to see her visit everywhere from Toronto and New York to her hometown of Nashville, the tour is set to kick off shortly after the 2013 Grammys on February 14.
