It’s UK version may have crashed and burned within weeks of airing, but that hasn’t stopped the US reboot of Rihanna‘s ‘Styled To Rock‘ become an immediate fan favourite, garnering a stream of positive reviews upon its Bravo debut last night.

With the winner set to earn a $100,000 cash prize, a fashion feature in Glamour magazine and the chance to join Rihanna’s style team, last night saw the show introduce the world to its first set of contestants.

Arabian Pop Princess Ahlam has billed US Pop sensation Rihanna an ‘infidel’ today, hurling a barrage of insults at the entertainer for the disrespect she allegedly showed an Abu Dhabi mosque, when she took to its entrance to engage in an unauthorised photo shoot.

Set to hit newsstands from November 8th, the singer’s spread is the latest in a long list of promotional stops lined up to support her stint on the FOX show – which returns to screens on October 29th following a two-week hiatus.

Randomness: Is anyone else perplexed as to why ‘Put Your Name On It’ wasn’t a) on the main ‘Talk A Good Game’ tracklist and b) not released as a single? We’re still scratching our heads re that one. For, more than any effort after ‘Motivation’, it honed in on the right brand and strand of “baby-making” music that made the 2011 track such a jam.

After years of speculation, it is finally official – The Boondocks is back!

Adult Swim‘s cult hit has been on a hiatus since 2010 – following the culmination of its third season. And despite promises of a fourth season from creator Aaron McGruder and cast members such as John Witherspoon and Regina King, it appeared the show’s return was merely a myth. That is until today.

Responding to a Tweet querying the whereabouts of the series, the network confirmed via video that the new series will debut in January 2014. Peep the clip below…

Fact not fiction, Katy Perry will sit atop of the Billboard 200 next week with her third studio album ‘Prism’.

Indeed, with initial sales projections of 275,000, the ‘Roar’ led set is on-course to not only deliver the singer’s best opening numbers yet, but also become the strongest female first week numbers of the year.

And, as if that wasn’t good enough news for the star (who is celebrating her 29th birthday today), it is now being reported that the LP is poised to exceed expected sales estimates.

As earlier reported, TLC‘s biopic ‘Crazy, Sexy, Cool: The TLC Story’ was a ratings smash upon its debut this Tuesday.

According to Nielsen, the VH1 production commanded an audience of 4.5 million viewers, making it the network’s highest-rated original movie. Ever.

The project’s success isn’t limited to the television arena. For, Billboard report that the the feature film has caused quite the spike in sales for the iconic trio.

Still hard at work on his debut album ‘Made To Love’, the honor no doubt comes as major coup for the rising star – who counts the likes of Beyonce and Michelle Obama as fans.

Pin-up appeal and critical acclaim often prove quite the potent potion when combined, hence it’s a great look for the New Orleans native to be recognized in both regards heading into the release of his LP.

In other Luke news, fans can catch him in ‘Black Nativity’ – the new movie he stars in alongside Jennifer Hudson and Forest Whitaker next month.
