On hand to lend live performances of tracks from her latest number 1 album ‘ARTPOP’, the songstress electrified the crowd with ‘Gypsy’ after being joined on stage by ‘Do What U Want’ with R&B pied piper R. Kelly for a showing sure to have the critics talking tomorrow.

Praised the unique way in which she incorporates World music into her own, Beyonce‘s solo career has seen her go above and beyond to embrace and showcase music oft overlooked by American culture.

From her moving rendition of ‘Vois Sur Ton Chemin’ at the 77th Academy Awards to serving the Spanish music market with español versions of ‘Irreplaceable‘, ‘If I Were A Boy’ and ‘Beautiful Liar‘, one would be hard pressed to downplay the Grammy winner’s genuine appreciation for foreign languages and art.

So, it should come as little surprise that her forthcoming era will see her go a step further than she’s ever gone before, by referencing African dance in multiple videos!

As even the loyalest of Mariah Carey‘s “Lambs” would confirm, the diva’s vocals have enjoyed jaw-dropping highs as well as unfortunate lows.

However, the 43-year-old was in incredible form this week during a “festive” moment with fans after a taping of Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.

On the taped segment of the show, Mimi surprised her supporters by walking in mid-way through their exclusive listening session of her new single ‘The Art Of Letting Go’ (click here to watch the video).

Yet, the real fun took place in this behind the scenes footage taped by camp Carey.

The songbird, along with a pianist and backing vocalists, thrilled the elated Lambs with an impromptu jam session – fusing together the instrumentation of one of our favorite cuts (ever) ‘Fly Like A Bird’, as well as new single ”Letting Go’.

While the masses will be unwrapping gifts this Holiday season, R. Kelly is unwrapping something else in the form of raunchy new album ‘Black Panties’.

After a flirtation with the Motown sound on 2010’s ‘Love Letter’, the King of R&B returns to his trademark bedroom rocking rhythms with ‘Panties’ – which features Kelly Rowland, Ludacris, and Young Jeezy.

New video alert!

Well…almost. For, while the clip is yet to air in full, today did bring with it behind the scenes footage lifted from Busta Rhymes‘ ‘Thank You’ video shoot, kicked off to generate attention for his forthcoming studio album ‘ELE 2.’

Filmed in Los Angeles, the clip comes after Busta joined Lil Wayne in welcoming Rapper Game to the YMCMB music group, weeks after the collective celebrated the release of Drake‘s chart topping effort, ‘Nothing Was The Same.’

Will ‘ELE 2‘ do just as well as well?

The BBC’s Zane Lowe finds himself on Hip Hop ground once again this week, after he caught up with ‘As The World Turns’ Rapper Eminem for a sit down interview, akin to his ‘controversial’ conversation with Kanye West  back in September.

Set to be unveiled this coming Monday, today saw the BBC unleash a teaser from the pair’s time together, seeing Em reveal how he intends to outperform West’s interview with the ‘Urban Disturbance’ mastermind.
