Move over ‘American Horror Story’!  For, if reports are to be believed, CBS is readying a reboot of the show featuring four of America’s favorite witches – the ‘Charmed’ sisters.

Read more below (via Deadline):

CBS has given a script order to Charmed, a reimaging of the original series centered around four sisters who discover their destiny – to battle against the forces of evil using their witchcraft. Created by Constance M. Burge and produced by Spelling TV, Charmed aired on the WB for eight seasons, concluding just before the network’s merger with UPN to form the CW in 2006. It has done well in off-network syndication on TNT and streaming on Netflix.”

To say she did that would be a grave understatement.  Tamar Braxton is still in hot promotion of her sophomore album ‘Love & War’ – a feat that sees her supporting fellow R&B crooner John Legend on a Stateside tour.

Her recent stop in NYC saw her drop by VH1’s studios to share a groovy, slowed down version of her summertime hit ‘The One’.  See it in full above:

*Bonus*:  While there the songstress also weighed in on the Julianne Hough “black face” costume controversy.  See that below:

‘Neighbors Know My Name’ maestro Trey Songz is seeing his name riding atop headlines for a courtroom showdown that happened moments ago on behalf of friend/fellow R&B hitmaker Chris Brown.

As you may recall, Brown was arrested over the weekend for allegedly assaulting a man in Washington D.C.

Fans who gathered to show their support for the ‘Look At Me Now’ singer earlier today outside of the courtroom where his hearing is set were sent into a frenzy when Songz appeared and tried to gain entry to the building.  Reports have it he was denied…

In paying homage to John Lennon and Yoko Ono‘s ‘Bed-ins for Peace’ protest against the Vietnam war, Jhene Aiko and Childish Gambino release the video for the singer’s new single ‘Bed Peace‘.

A far cry from the material Aiko was most renown for during her days as part of the B2K family, the number appears on her November 12th ‘Sail Out’ EP release, which features seven tracks and an appearance by ‘Poetic Justice’ lyricist Kendrick Lamar.

While her newest album ‘Prism’ is set to shine atop Billboard 200 this week with first week sales in excess of 290k, Covergirl’s newest frontwoman Katy Perry can be getting in some modeling practice affront a number of magazines on newsstands.

Bringing in holiday cheer with her yuletide-themed ‘Glamour UK’ cover, the festive feature photos of the shoot show songbird with feathers and ribbon – quite the visual departure from her stunning ‘W’ magazine showing (which one rave reviews upon its unveiling last week).

All this, of course, just in time to accompany the rocking renditions of her new albums’ first singles ‘Roar’ and ‘Unconditionally’ lent to eager Aussie audiences on ‘X Factor: Australia”.

One week before the November 4th unleashing of his self titled debut album, James Arthur continues to give the general public ample reason to support it today, by debuting one of its cuts ‘New Tattoo‘ live.

If the LP’s lead single did little to secure your purchase, we’d say ‘Tattoo‘ certainly will, oozing with the raw emotion that’ll no doubt see him join Emeli Sande and Adele atop the Brit Pop food chain within the year.

Check him out after the jump!
