Lady GaGa‘s garnered ‘Applause’ aplenty on Good Morning America moments ago.

The Pop megastar rocked the house with the lead effort from her fourth studio album ‘ARTPOP’.

In true out-there form, the performance was preceded by a Wizard of Oz themed intro. Only GaGa.

So put your paws up and get down with Stefani after the jump…

Powerful voices may be a dime a dozen on today’s charts, however few can forget those iconic tones, textures, and notes that have come to define what “singing” means.

Indeed, in more recent times, a whole reality sub-genre has been dedicated to finding the next set of vocalists that will inspire the generations to come; and move them in the way a number of legendary names have moved some of today’s rising stars.

Still, it begs the question: who is the ultimate voice?

All too often, countless names are touted – some more than others, yet next to never is there a unanimous choice. Could this be a testament to the many greats that have rocked the mic over the years? Perhaps. However, ever keen to plough through the smoke, mirrors, and endless debate, we throw the question over to YOU!

In knowing that any voice billed as the “ultimate” must boast an array of flavors, we’ve re-teamed with our friends over at FUZE as our sponsor.

As you know, their refreshing iced tea and juice drinks mix the best tastes together for superior results. Needless to say, they’re a sure-fit for the latest in our list series.

Together, we want to know which names (in order) you feel represent the ultimate voice most.

Name your top 3 in the comment section below. Submissions must be received by September. Thereafter, the picks (and their order) will be tallied, with the definitive list being unveiled at a later date.

Be sure to keep it locked to find out who hit the most potent note and tops the list!

15,000.

The above figure, stands as the number of tickets sold by Beyonce within five days upon announcing she was to take her ‘Mrs.Carter Show‘ to Brazil’s Belo Horizonte.

Before she fulfils that stadium date, yesterday saw her touch down in Fortazela to rock the Castelão, joined by husband Jay Z and daughter Blue Ivy, whom she spoke openly about during a press conference given to press before the show kicked off.

It’s been an interesting 8 months for a certain outspoken ‘Heaven Sent’ hitmaker named Keyshia Cole.

Indeed, the songstress has been embroiled in a series of attacks (sent from everywhere but Heaven) from fans of former Destiny’s Child members Beyonce and Michelle Williams for her comments regarding the divas – namely the latter who she notoriously slammed for her participation in the 2013 Superbowl half-time show.

Williams, who is ramping up promotion for her forthcoming 4th album ‘Journey To Freedom’, recently called for a “woman-to-woman” chat with Cole to discuss the reasons behind the initial attack.  While her first response to the invitation wasn’t welcoming, today saw the “I Changed My Mind” maestra take to Twitter to say:

The apology was accompanied by one final plea from Cole, however….

‘Givin’ all the dedication that I got / Cos I’m proud to say that I’m a Rita Bot’.

By all accounts, Rita Ora stands as one of Pop’s friendlier contributors, celebrated by many for her work as an ambassador of her homeland Kosovo and an endearing nature that saw her win over many a fan during her time on ‘X Factor UK‘s ninth season.

Now, in thanking her for the material so many are slowly but surely learning to love, one member of fan base – ‘The Ritabots‘ has penned a heartfelt song for the performer, named….’The Ritabot Song‘.

Written and recorded by YouTuber ‘Nicola Dean’, the number was brought to life this week when the die hard fan filmed herself performing it and uploaded it to the video sharing platform.

While some of the lyrics are difficult to ascertain, the sentiment is all too clear.

‘I’ll cut your arm off, and slap you with your own hand’.

The above, being one of the lines spewed by Rapper Cassidy to his new found nemesis Meek Mill in the soon to be controversial ‘Catch a Body‘- the diss tracked penned by the former to the latter and his mentor, Rick Ross.

In response to Mill‘s ‘Kendrick You Next‘ which saw him both mock and slam the ‘Hotel’ hit maker, the diss track sees Cass do the unthinkable and hint  at Meek’s alleged involvement in the murder of his close friend Lil Snupe.

Britney Spears is back!

The Pop force tosses her name (and wig) into the chart melee that is the fourth quarter. Details surrounding her upcoming eighth album are being guarded with much ferocity, however the singer herself shared a snap of herself hard at work on the set of its lead single…‘Work Bitch’.

Taking to Twitter, her team she wrote:

******

Well, hello!

We’d be lying if we said we weren’t a touch excited about the shot above, as well as the song’s title.

However, for us to really “turn up”, we to need Ms. Spears to show and prove (again). For, we’ve been hoodwinked one time too many times with promises of dancing one’s ass off, only to see body doubles and blank stares.

Still, we’re still eager to see how this plays out. With a title as grabbing ‘Work Bitch’, Britney (quite literally) has no choice but to do just that!

Your thoughts?

Today’s From The Vault pick comes courtesy of Usher and his breakthrough hit single, ‘You Make Me Wanna’.

The launching release from his sophomore effort, 1997’s ‘My Way’, ‘Make’ stands as the first of many touchdowns scored by the dynamic duo of Ush’ and the great Jermaine Dupri.

Released right at the tail end of the New Jack Swing craze, it became a template for what R&B would go on to sound like in the late 90’s.

Shooting straight to the #2 spot of the Hot 100, the sizzling track was only held back from the pole position by Elton John monumental ‘Candle In The Wind’ – which charted at #1 for 14 weeks. Elsewhere, it was a Billboard Hip-Hop/R&B #1 and also reached the top of the UK Singles Chart tally, it peaked at #6 in both Canada and Australia.

The music video, directed by Bille Woodruff, is a colorful affair mixing solo shots with elaborate dance moves including a chair routine. It was also quite the event because in similar fashion to Michael Jackson’s ‘Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough’ and Destiny’s Child’s ‘Lose My Breath’ several years later, it featured multiple Usher-clones engaging in synchronized choreography. A 90’s classic.

*************

With Usher’s last album ‘Looking 4 Myself’ not exactly setting the charts alight and R&B seemingly on the up, it will be rather interesting to see which path the entertainer will embark on next go round. Are we in for a dance-athon in the vein of his latest hits ‘DJ Got Us Falling In Love’, ‘Scream’ and ‘OMG’? Will the talented triple-threat take us back to the pure R&B sound of ‘My Way’ and ‘8701’? Is Usher about to unleash something totally different upon us? We sure can’t wait to get the answers to our questions.

What is certain is that the ‘Yeah!’ singer stands as one of the (if not the) most talented male entertainers of the last few generations; an act who always gives it a 100% and truly lives up to his stage-blazer status — hence why we’ll forever be rooting for him.

Bring it on, Ush’!
