In breaking news, the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences has announced the sanctions it’s handed down to Will Smith in the wake of his behavior at the 94th Annual Oscars.

As widely reported, the Hollywood titan slapped Chris Rock live on the broadcast after the comedian made a jab at his wife Jada Pinkett Smith‘s bald ‘do (which was caused by health issue alopecia).

Now, in the wake of Will’s voluntary resignation from the Academy, the governing body has formalized the ramifications the Best Actor winner will be subject to.

Ed Sheeran has triumphed in the long-running copyright lawsuit filed against him over his smash hit single ‘Shape of You.’

As reported, the Pop hitmaker and collaborators Johnny McDaid and Steve Mac were sued by Sami Chokri who claimed that the collective plagiarized his song ‘Oh Why.’

However, a UK High Court disagreed and ruled today (April 6) that the work had not infringed in any way.

‘Heartless’ hitmaker Kanye West is proving he doesn’t live up to his 2008 hit.

The GRAMMY winner, who has made headlines over the last few days for a string of harassing texts to his ex-wife Kim Kardashian and her new beau Pete Davidson, particularly stunned his followers on Valentine’s Day (February 14) when he hurled insults at Pete and suggested physical harm was headed the comic’s way.

His retraction of that statement came after a whirlwind of negative press, with many slamming the 44-year-old music mogul for his threatening action.

Heeding the advisement of insiders on his team, West took to Instagram Tuesday (February 15) to reveal he is ‘learning’ better ways to communicate.

Designed to “honor media for fair, accurate, and inclusive representations of LGBTQ people and issues,” the GLAAD Media Awards is set to carry on its annual tradition as underscored by the unveiling of the official nominations list for its 33rd annual ceremony.

Announced live on GLAAD’s TikTok page Wednesday (January 19), the nominees represent LGBTQ musical and acting performers and shows as well as journalists, documentarians, and more.

“There are more nominees this year than ever before, highlighting a growing landscape of LGBTQ visibility, and serving as a reminder to the critical role that film, television, music, journalism, and other forms of media can play in growing LGBTQ acceptance in the face of ongoing attacks against our community,” said GLAAD president & CEO Sarah Kate Ellis in a statement.
