It’s been nearly 5 months since Ledisi dealt fans her last studio album, ‘The Wild Card‘ (click here to stream), but it appears the 13x GRAMMY nominee still has a few plays in hand from the critically acclaimed LP’s 15-song deck.

After winning at Urban A/C radio with its kickoff singles, ‘Where I Am’ and Anything for You’ (even nabbing a GRAMMY nod for the latter), the powerhouse singer has prepped the project’s fan favorite – ‘Same Love’ – for radio treatment as the next single.

“It don’t get no hotter than July / Baby I’m so happy I replied / Left our inhibitions at the door / We know exactly what we came here for,” she croons on the slow-burning track. “We ain’t really trying nothing new / I don’t really mind the déjà vu / History is better on repeat.”
