Los Angeles-based DJs Cheat Codes had been West Coast staples long before breaking into Billboard in 2017 with their first Platinum-certified top 40 hit, ‘No Promises’ (featuring Demi Lovato).

And while the trio has yet to match or surpass the success of ‘Promises,’ buzz around their latter work has been promising – especially their newest effort with Urban Pop sensation Tinashe.  The ‘All Hands on Deck’ diva lends a helping hand on their single, ‘Lean on Me’ (just announced earlier this week).

“Baby, when you’re falling / You can lean on me / When you don’t feel strong / Whеn you don’t believe / Baby, lеt me love you / I won’t ever leave / Promise when you’re falling,” she sings on the new track.

Only DJ Khaled could bring together Nas and Jay-Z.

The pair have joined forces for the first time in over a decade on Khaled’s new album, ‘Khaled Khaled,’ for a track called ‘Sorry Not Sorry.’ Following the album’s release on April 30, the producer shared rare footage of a call between Jay and Nas.

In the clip, the ‘If I Ruled The World’ rapper is in the studio with Khaled while speaking with Hova over FaceTime.

After hearing Jay’s verse, Nas said:

Oh no, no no. I’m just here tweaking lines and sh*t. I’m in here like rewriting four bars.”

Jay-Z laughed and then Nas went on to praise Beyoncé’s backing vocals too. In the end, neither rewrote their lyrics.

Talk about a tag-team of titans!

DJ Khaled, JAY-Z, Nas, and James Fauntleroy are unapologetically bad ass in the music video for Khaled’s latest single, ‘Sorry Not Sorry.’  The track acts as the official leader from the hitmaking DJ-producer’s 12th studio album ‘Khaled Khaled’ (click here to stream).

Also featuring Harmonies by the Hive (which fans quickly and correctly guessed was music megastar Beyonce providing background vocals), the Queen Bey may not be seen in the clip but her presence is very much felt all over the track.

For, fresh from unwrapping its star-studded tracklist, the hitmaker has shared a sneak peek of the video for JAY-Z and Nas collaboration ‘Sorry Not Sorry (ft. James Fauntleroy)’

As reported, many are interpreting the song’s additional guest Harmonies By The Hive as being none other than Beyonce. Something Khaled himself seems to hint at himself.

Last month, Nick Jonas sent his loyal fans over the moon with the surprise announcement of his third major label studio album, ‘Spaceman.’

His supporters barely had time to catch their breaths by the time they were introduced to the LP’s lead single/title track and a follow-up single, ‘This is Heaven.’  The tunes were given primo promotion via an appearance on ‘SNL’ and other premium outlets before their parent album was released on March 12 (just two weeks after it was formally announced).

While showered with critical acclaim, early indicators suggested the 11-track set was pacing to deliver his lowest first-week sales to date (among his major label offerings).  To turn the tide, Jonas surprised fans again – this time by unveiling the ‘Spaceman’ deluxe edition smack dab in the middle of the project’s inaugural sales tracking week.

Curious to see how that helped his final sales figure?  Look inside:

Nick Jonas continues his space adventure in his new video for ‘This Is Heaven.’

In the new set of visuals, the pop star performs in a church, backed by a choir, as the sun streaks through the windows. In another scene, he is back in front of a control panel as he appears to return to his character from his ‘Spaceman’ video.

His character only finds happiness when he goes beyond the observation deck in the outdoors, where he can run free and breathe.

‘This Is Heaven’ serves as the second single from Jonas’ ‘Spaceman’ album (stream it here), following the title track.

It’s been nearly 27 years since Rap legend Nas burst onto the scene with his iconic debut album, ‘Illmatic.’

In the time since, the rapper – now 47-years-old – has become a mainstay in the upper rankings of critics’ ‘best ever’ lists among his Hip Hop peers.

Despite being no stranger to acclaim, Nas (born Nasir Jones) has never been awarded a golden grammophone from the Recording Academy.

At the 63rd annual edition of the ceremony, that changed.

However, unlike our other segments – Retro Rewind, TGJ Replay, and From The Vault – The Pop Stop is the most in-depth look at Pop songs that may have flown under the radar over the last week that you should know, rather they be from music’s biggest stars or those on the rise.

This week, we want to highlight cuts from Nick Jonas, CHIKA, Watts & Khalid, and January Jane.
