The R&B singer is currently starring on the 27th season of ABC’s ‘Dancing With The Stars’ and is dominating the competition.
Paired with new professional Brandon Armstrong, this week saw the duo dazzle with a racy showing of the Rumba. And thesong was the starlet’s own hit ‘2 On.’
From The Vault is back this week with a smash hit from an unstoppable diva.
Today’s pick is ‘I’m Gonna Be Alright’ by Jennifer Lopez.
Originally featured on Jennifer’s sophomore effort, ‘Alright’ was remixed by Track Masters and issued as the second single from her remix album ‘J to tha L-O.’ The single featured fellow New Yorker Nas and was built on a sample of ‘I Got 5 On It’ by Luniz.
It was the Puerto Rican artist’s sixth Top 10 single in the US – peaking at #10. Elsewhere it placed #3 in the UK, #6 in Germany and was a Top 20 hit in France too.

The legendary Dave Meyers directed the track’s accompanying video which was set in the Bronx – where Jenny From The Block grew up.
Depicting a day in the life of a “real girl,” the beauty can be seen sunbathing in the street, hitting the laundromat, jamming at a music store and walking out on a relationship. All in a day, naturally.
Ex-husband Cris Judd is also featured in the video – a testament to La Lopez’s uninhibited approach to her romances.

Ain’t it funny how 20 years in, Ms. Lopez’ career seems to go from strength to strength? Though not the surefire chart darling she was during the early 00’s, rest assured she’s riding high in a major way somewhere, somehow. Whether with her music, movies, TV shows, or cosmetics….she’s unstoppable.
With the entertainer ending her Vegas run yesterday evening, we’re already excited about what’s next for Jenny and how she’ll choose to push her next musical journey to the masses.
We get the feeling that, any which way, she’s… gonna be alright. Don’t you?
Monday (September 24) brought with it the ‘Dancing With the Stars’ debut of Tinashe and her first-time pro partner, Brandon Armstrong.
“Brandon is young, he’s fun, he’s cool, we have a good vibe,” the 25-year-old “No Drama” singer explained. “We’re both really competitive. I know he wants that Mirrorball [trophy], I certainly want that Mirrorball.”
Proof of that competitive drive was certainly evidenced from tonight’s showing as ‘Nashe – easily one of the most experienced dancers among the show’s roster – popped, locked, and dropped it all across the dancefloor like only she can.
Curious to see how she and Armstrong handled the Jive? Look inside:
Nas and Kelis may have divorced almost a decade ago, but the grenades of fury are detonating almost daily. And now, it’s taking place as public spectacle.
Back in April, Kelis made headlines when she shattered her silence on the matter, branding her rapper ex a selective, sometimes father to their 9-year-old son Knight.
Now, following their latest legal wrangle, it’s Nas who’s speaking up and out.
Via Instagram, he vented in a long, detailed, and arguably damaging account of his experience with the singer and his frustrations over her alleged behavior.
Over 7 separate entries, the Hip-Hop star condemned his former wife, labelling her abusive, manipulative, and money-hungry.
Fresh from uncaging long-awaited album ‘Queen’ yesterday, the rapper has debuted ‘Sorry’ – a new song not featured on the set.
A collaboration with ex-boyfriend Nas, the track samples Tracy Chapman‘s ‘Baby Can I Hold You’ – and thus appears to be the cut that almost saw the entire ‘Queen’ project pushed back.
On the song, the Hip-Hop titans trade verses up about their love for one another and keep it candid about their relationship.
Funkmaster Flex premiered ‘Sorry’ moments ago and now you can listen below…
