This, dwarfing sales highs attained by the likes of Drake, Bruno Mars, Justin Bieber and Usher.

As earlier reported, Christina Aguilera sprung a surprise on the press last night by turning up at The Voice season 4 premiere.

The diva, who is sitting out the show this season, stopped to talk to the media before sashaying in.

Thankfully, the “what’s your favourite colour” and “do you like long walks in the park” type questions were left on the bench and Xtina was instead quizzed on what we really want to know about — the music!

With Brit-Pop fans in mourning over the split of Girls Aloud, the group’s lead and only singer Nadine Coyle has spoken up and out about their disbanding.

Expected by many to echo the soppy sentiments in yesterday’s break-up statement, Coyle’s first words as an ex-member of the Pop outfit are pleasantly “off-script” and surprisingly frank.

Jennifer Lopez was in good creative company this week, when she was joined in the studio by Pop sex symbol Chris Brown.

Sharing the snap on her personal Twitter page, Lopez’ sighting with Brown prompted reports he has joined the camp crafted to create her new album, set for release within the next year.

This album, marking her 8th, follows the release of her 2011 LP ‘LOVE?’– which peaked at #5 on the Billboard 200, #6 in the UK and #2 in Canada.

Much like our ‘Retro Rewind’ and ‘From the Vault’ segments, readers of That Grape Juice know what avid music lovers we are – especially of hits past.  So in a quest to re-spin the gems and jams of yesterday we introduced a new retrospective segment – ‘TGJ Replay’.

Pop diva Christina Aguilera has been majorly M.I.A since she wrapped her stint on The Voice back in December. However, the last week has seen the star pop up and out in fine fashion; first there was the video for Pitbull‘s smash ‘Feel This Moment’ and last night, she made a surprise appearance at the season 4 premiere on the hit NBC show.

The ‘Your Body’ singer was in the house at the Los Angeles event to support new coaches Shakira and Usher – who are apparently replacing her and Cee-Lo Green for just one season (although we’re sure the ratings will be the true deciding factor).

Turning heads in a flirty black dress, the mother of one looked the most refreshed she has in a long while. We can only hope her fit and fierce new look is an indication that she’s plotting a return to the spotlight – be that a re-revving of underrated LP ‘Lotus’ or new material. She’s too important to the industry, both as a vocalist and a performer, to not add more chapters of success to her story.

Put simply: Xtina, it time to get back to business!
