May 16 will bring with it the 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards.

Set to air live from the Palladium in Los Angeles, the highly anticipated awards ceremony is designed to toast the last year’s best and brightest actors in film and television as well as the buzziest moments that made jaws drop and set social media alight in the process.

While big names in television like ‘WandaVision’ and ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ lead the race among TV nominees, ‘Judas & the Black Messiah’ is poised to dominate in movie categories.

With the GRAMMYs 2021 fast approaching, all eyes are on who will be taking to the stage on music’s biggest calendar night.

As reported, Beyonce leads the nominations with a whopping nine.

However, there are some who don’t consider her a shoo-in to hit the stage in light of seismic snubs for both her and hubby Jay-Z in the recent past.

Yet, per a new report, a key figure has been installed who is managing to magnetize some of music’s biggest names – including Queen Bey.

At just 24-years-old, Zendaya – star of HBO’s hit drama ‘Euphoria’ – has taken home EMMY gold in the ‘Lead Actress In A Drama Series’ category at the 2020 ceremony.

The win makes her the youngest ever to do so.

Efforts to erode Ellen DeGeneres‘ TV reign seem to be working.

After years of murmurs and arguably baseless tales of backstage bullying, this year brought with it an investigation into the star’s hit talk show and stories from a group of workers who say that their lives were ruined by a culture of calamity and a soiree of shenanigans!

Today, another employee has stepped out of the dark to reveal that her time on the show was unpleasant, and reveals that she once saw the talk show host giggle when one of her employees was attacked by a producer.

Today brings with it the 54th birthday of Pop queen Janet Jackson!

Boasting an illustrious career that spans over four decades, the Rock and Roll Hall Of Famer has etched her name into the fabric of music history with classics such as ‘Rhythm Nation,’ ‘Nasty,’ and ‘All For You.’

But on a momentous day like this (and while she readies new album ‘Black Diamond’), we see no better time than the present to celebrate some of Miss Jackson’s lesser known jams.

Megan Thee Stallion fans rejoiced when the femcee tapped fellow Houston hitmaker Beyoncé to feature on her megahit, ‘Savage.’

Despite blasting to the top of iTunes and Apple Music tallies mere hours after its release, however, the J. White Did It-produced cut wasn’t exactly a shoo-in for #1 on next week’s Billboard Hot 100 as stiff competition came in the form of another diva duet – Doja Cat and Nicki Minaj‘s ‘Say So.’

Mid-week predictions may have suggested Stallion and Queen Bey had the win in the bag given their domination of streaming outlets (as we reported here), but updated figures suggest ‘Say’ still has a chance to top the Hot 100 due to an oft-overlooked component of data calculated to determine chart placements:  radio.

Drake dropped a lockdown care-package this Friday with the surprise release of new project ‘Dark Lane Demo Tapes.’
