With her new single ‘Diamonds‘ set to drop in a few weeks time, Rihanna enjoyed downtime at Club Eden, LA last night with full time shadow Melissa Ford.

Marking yet another night out of partying for the supposed singer, her sighting came before she scored impressive nominations at the 2012 European Music Awards, which also celebrated achievements by ‘American Idol’ judge Nicki Minaj and singer/songwriter Rita Ora.

Having notched up over a million views in a matter of days, it’s fair to say Ciara is onto a winner with comeback single ‘Sorry‘.

Hence, so as to keep her buzz a’buzzin, the 26 year old has shared a new promotional shot with her ever-adoring “C-Squad”.

Needless to say, stunning stuff.

We literally can’t wait to see the promotional push for the singer’s fifth studio album ‘One Woman Army’ – which is presently slated for a Fall release. Bring on the performances, pictures, and the whole shabang. We’re amped!

Pop quad Little Mix have unveiled the official cover for their debut album, ‘DNA’.

Due in November, the LP is set to feature the group’s two chart-toppers, ‘Cannonball’ and ‘Wings’, as well as the album’s title-track, which also dubs as their next single.

***********

Having scored two #1’s with two singles, the ladies are off to the best of starts. The true test, however, will come with their album sales. The X Factor winners have both the show and Holiday-release window as big boosters to their campaign; whether or not that’ll be enough to blast them out of “talent show” territory into “credible artists” will be interesting to see. Roll on November.

Christina Aguilera put her best foot forward last night, arriving at the 2012 NCLR ALMA Awards in this flattering Michael Kors number.

Taking to the Latino event, where she was honored for her contributions to the arts, Aguilera hit the red carpet two nights after the official release of her new song ‘Your Body’ and two months before the launch of her seventh studio album, ‘Lotus’.

This year’s MTV European Music Awards is undoubtedly set to be one the industry’s grandest nights- that is, if even half of this year’s nominees show up.

Indeed, though yet to confirm any of the night’s performers, this morning did see the event release its full list of nominations marking phenomenal news for many a chart staple- more specifically though, Pop Princesses Rita Ora and Nicki Minaj.

While still at war with fellow diva Elton John, Queen of Pop Madonna is still finding time to make digs at pop princess Lady Gaga.

As fans long know, the ‘Vogue’ hitmaker notoriously referenced Gaga as being ‘reductive’ in her ‘Born This Way’ spin on Madge’s 1989 hit ‘Express Yourself’ – later claiming its the 2011 track was inspired by Whitney Houston.

A statement which led the pop icon to include a thinly veiled attack to her young counterpart by performing a ‘She’s Not Me/Express Yourself/Born This Way’ mash-up in her own show.

Last night, at a stop in Atlantic City on her highly successful ‘MDNA World Tour’, Madge dedicated a performance of the Golden Globe-winning song ‘Masterpiece’ (from ‘W.E.’) and sent the crowd into a frenzy when she made this announcement:

It’s the shot the world has waited for and moments ago it finally arrived.

The latest series of the X-Factor UK continued tonight. Unsurprisingly, with this being the audition phase, the talented and talent-challenged came out in equal measure for a crack at progressing to the next stage. Judging the hopefuls are new additions Gary Barlow, Tulisa Contostavlos, original panelist Louis Walsh, and newcomer Nicole Scherzinger.

{An international phenomenon, local versions show now air in the US, Italy, France and beyond. The brain-child of Simon Cowell, the show is responsible for birthing the careers of Leona Lewis, Alexandra Burke, Cher Lloyd and JLS.}.

This week, That Grape Juice salute a breed that we’re particularly fond of. Without an ounce of doubt we are talking DIVAS {www.SheIsDiva.com}! What better way to honour these iconic figures than to give a nod to today’s most pronounced ambassador of the cause?

Needless to say, today’s From The Vault comes courtesy of the legend-in-the-making Beyonce and her aptly-titled ‘Diva’ release.

Helmed by TGJ favorites Bangladesh and Sean Garrett, the 2008 cut (lifted from the multi-Platinum ‘I Am…’ LP) sees Ms. Knowles’ alter-ego, Sasha Fierce, take center stage for an unapologetic ego-trip. If you didn’t know it before, the then-27 year old left no uncertainty that she was “the number one diva in this game”.

The Hip-Hop soaked cut, which for many was an estrogen equivalent to Lil’ Wayne’s infectuous ‘A Milli’, peaked at #19 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #3 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop chart (sidenote: the single was only sent to Rythmic and Urban radio, a shame if you ask us). Without ever being officially released outside of the US, it still managed to chart at #40 in Australia and #72 in the UK based on downloads alone.

In the black and white music video, directed by longtime collaborator and friend Melina Matsoukas, Sasha amps it up with attitude-filled choreography accompanied by her ever reliable dancers and rocking Thierry Mugler designs with both sass and class.

As Bey drills home in the song, “a diva is a female version of a hustler”. Although we concur with her definition, we definitely feel there more, which begs the question…

What is your definition of a diva?

BONUS: Check out Ms. Knowles blazing the stage at her Revel comeback concert earlier this year below. We can’t wait for the DVD when it arrives this Fall!

No more than two hours after confirming the cast for this season’s ‘American Idol’, Mariah Carey arrived to the show’s NYC auditions with fellow judge Nicki Minaj to begin their search for the nation’s next phenom.

In fact, as you read this very article, the pair are now being joined by Keith Urban and Randy Jackson, who make up the second half of this season’s quartet.

As reported here, Brandy was one of many R&B acts on hand at Atlanta’s annual ‘For Sisters Only’ (FSO) expo.

And, while fans certainly lined the rows in anticipation of musical offerings from the likes of Miguel, J. Holiday, and more, it was the ‘Put It Down’ diva who our sources say really got the crowd moving.

Lending lives performances of her latest two singles ‘Wildest Dreams’ & ‘Put It Down’, it’s safe to say Miss Norwood is not playing when it comes to her forthcoming ‘Two Eleven’.

See what we mean below *a killer performance of ‘Have You Ever’ has been added*:
