As one of the greatest and most successful artists of all time, Diana Ross has delivered many memorable moments over the course of her illustrious career. However, few can rival the colossal spectacle that was her iconic concert at Central Park in 1983.

A seismic celebration of a talent and a hit catalog like no other, the performance served as an emphatic exclamation mark of the legend Ross already was at the time.

800,000 (yes, eight hundred thousand) revelers packed into Central Park and braved turbulent weather to watch The Boss blaze the stage like only she can.

Rocking the house with a set that fused solo smashes and hits from The Supremes’ reign, the diva dazzled from the onset with a stunning showing of ‘I’m Coming Out.’

And while the performance was cut short by a storm, nothing could quell the hurricane that was The Boss.

Here’s toasting the 40th anniversary of a legendary showing from one of the most legendary talents to ever grace the stage.

As meteoric rises go, few in modern Hip-Hop have galvanized the masses quite like Ice Spice.

Dominating the Urban sphere with bops such as ‘Munch’ and ‘Princess Diana,’ the Rap princess has also been making a splash in the Pop realm by way of colossal collaborations with the likes of Taylor Swift (‘Karma’) and Nicki Minaj (‘Barbie World’).

With this week bringing with it the expanded re-release of her ‘Like…?’ project, the femcee is pounding the promotional pavement in support of the set.

Her latest stop was Apple Music, where she chopped it up with Zane Lowe about a myriad of topics. From her ascend, navigating the “ghetto” music industry, her family, working with “Queen’ Nicki Minaj, new music, and much more.

Billboard history books penned yet another Taylor Swift accomplishment this week thanks to the unveiling of her latest album re-release, ‘Speak Now (Taylor’s Version).’

Sent to music shelves (digital and otherwise) on July 7, the set boasts the highest first-week sales of any effort released this year – igniting Swift-Mania in a way that also lit a fire under 10 of her other previous projects (to unprecedented measure).

And while her domination of the Billboard Hot 100 has been extensively covered, her reign over the Billboard 200 may be the week’s biggest music story given its historic implications.

Jay Rock, Anderson .Paak, and Latto make an unlikely but potent trio for the Mustard-produced bop ‘Too Fast (Pull Over).’

“Pull ovеr, that a** too fast (Too fast) / Hit the ATM and grab more cash (More cash) / Yеs, Lord, feelin’ like a new man (Yes, lawd) / I was dreamin’ in the life, then I woke up,” croons Paak – who shows off his singing and rapping skills – on the energetic cut’s chorus.
