Love her as we may, it’s fair to say Mariah Carey‘s latest album campaign was a dismal disaster. It’s quite apt, then, that one of the singer’s only televised promo spots was the equally as disastrous World Music Awards 2014.

Having taken place in Monaco way back in May, production complications meant it never aired anywhere prior to today.

Luckily for Mimi fans, its UK premiere brought with it the songbird’s opening number – a live rendition of ‘Meteorite’ from ‘Me. I Am Mariah…The Elusive Chanteuse’.

It was all love on the video set of ‘No Love’ – August Alsina‘s new single featuring Nicki Minaj.

The Urban hitmakers playfully posed together during a scene for the clip, which is the latest to be lifted from Alsina’s ‘Testimony’ LP.

It’s been a busy week for femcee Nicki, who also shot the visual for Pop banger ‘Bang Bang’ alongside Jessie J and Ariana Grande.

Eminem and Rihanna are warming up the masses for their Summer ‘Monster Tour’.

The pair offered a preview of what to expect from the trek during their set at day one of Lollapalooza 2014 in Chicago last night.

Slim Shady, who headlined the bill, brought out Slim Talent to perform ‘Stan’ in the absence of original singer Dido.

Perhaps Em hasn’t heard the monstrous vocals that have flown out of RiRi’s mouth over the years. Because, it’s clear she was far from equipped to do the track justice. Indeed, at points, she sounded like she was sleeping.

Roc Nation chart-topper Rita Ora looks to have secured herself another hit in the form of Iggy Azalea‘s ‘Black Widow’. 

The track – which she features on- continues to rock US radio and is climbing rapidly on iTunes, all before the debut of its Kill Bill inspired video.

Remy Ma is a free woman.

The rapper was originally set to be released from Bedford Hills Correctional Facility for Women on July 31st after serving six years for Intentional Assault. However, due to an apparent phone violation, the femcee’s release was delayed by 24 hours.

However, yesterday brought with it the former Terror Squad star’s day of freedom.

And she wasted no time getting back to business – and hit the studio with DJ Khaled.
