‘American Boy’ chanteuse Estelle may be a fan of fellow Brit Adele, but not so much of her supposed links to Soul music, it has emerged this week.

For, during a recent conversation with Russell Simmons‘ ‘Global Grind‘, the ‘Come Over Love’ belle was quizzed on remarks she made on the singer and ‘Warwick Avenue’ vocalist Duffy, both of whom she said had been billed Soul singers by the media…incorrectly.

Why she feels this labelling downplays efforts made by the likes of Aretha Franklin?

As to support her Grammy-acknowledged sophomore album ‘Love and War‘, Tamar Braxton hit the road for the ‘Love & War Tour‘ this year, taking her latest stage show to a number of intimate venues across North America.

One of these intimate stops, as fans will already, was ‘The Fillmore Miami Beach’, which boasts a capacity of 2,462 seats and was rocked to its core by the Kim Burse-inspired spectacle that was Tamar’s show.

Put simply…it was fantastic.

Director Ruben Fleischer is to thank for Major Lazer‘s ‘Come On To Me’ visual, featuring ‘Baby Boy’ rapper Sean Paul.

Lifted from their ‘Apocalypse Soon‘ EP, the single’s video drops as Lazer continues work on their third studio album, enlisting Sean to inject a healthy of ‘DanceHall’ into the nightclub-ready release.

In news that will no doubt excite Brandy‘s legion of fans, The Vocal Bible was snapped in the studio this week with legendary hitmaker Dianne Warren.

Taking to Twitter, Warren – who has penned smashes such as ‘Un-Break My Heart’ and Beyonce’s ‘I Was Here’ – posted the shot above with the caption:

From Ciara to Joan Rivers and many more, Rihanna has seen her fair share of Twitter opponents in her time.  None, however, have “gone in” on the ‘Hard’ hitmaker like serial tweeter Charlie Sheen.

The former ‘Two and a Half Men’ star had more than two cents to lend the Bajan beauty about an encounter at a restaurant last night.  According to Sheen, he attempted to introduce Ri to his fiancee, who is a long-time fan of the singer.  But, after the ‘Disturbia’ diva declined the invitation, Charlie flew into a fiery  Twitter rant that saw him label the Grammy winner a “liar,” “idiot”, and wearer of “bad wigs”.
