While Oprah‘s OWN network hasn’t exactly seen the best of ratings in its short history, the Talk Queen has found the jackpot in pop singers.

With ‘Poker Face’ performer Lady Gaga and alleged “singer” Rihanna giving the channel its highest ratings yet, Winfrey looks to continue that winning streak with ‘Spotlight’ songstress Jennifer Hudson.

Set to air Sunday, September 9 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, the sit-down session is sure to cover a number of topics, including Hudson’s tragic family loss, upcoming nuptials, and relationship to legendary singer Whitney Houston.

The X Factor USA roars back onto screens next month for a second season of fun-filled theatrics.

As widely reported, new judge Britney Spears lends the FOX show ample “star factor”, which the network paid handsomely for. $16 million, to be exact.

Therefore, so as to ensure they recoup their spend, a major promotional campaign has been mounted, one which sees Spears and fellow judges (Simon Cowell, LA Reid, and Demi Lovato) grace the cover of this week’s TV Guide.

Is it us or does this look like a packshot for The Sims? Too much Photoshop.
