On new album, ‘Chromatica,’ Lady Gaga boldly declares “this is the dancefloor I fought for.” A statement that indeed mirrors her reality.

After embracing a more stripped-back, analogue sound on 2016’s ‘Joanne’ and ‘A Star Is Born’s soundtrack (for which she earned as Oscar), the Pop force makes a grand return to the high-octane sonics that saw her become one of music’s most magnetic talents.

And it appears the move is paying off.

Having hit #5 with lead single ‘Stupid Love,’ she – as at writing – is tipped to top the Hot 100 with follow-up ‘Rain On Me’ featuring Ariana Grande.

Armed with this momentum, will the album itself deliver commercially? The first week sales predictions are here and bring with it an early indication of the answer.

Its apparent Young Dolph and Megan Thee Stallion intend to blow out a few speakers with their bass-buoyed duet, ‘RNB.’

Produced by Juicy J, the braggadocious tune sees Stallion up to her usual set of impressive tricks as she spits:

“I think I might be too real of a bitch / Told me watch my mouth, I told him ni**a, watch your kids.”

Somewhat of a surprise drop given Dolph’s announcement earlier this year to retire from the music business all together, look inside to hear him trade bars with this week’s reigning Billboard Hot 100 champ:

Taylor Swift has set fire to social media after taking aim at Donald Trump.

The superstar singer is far from impressed with US president’s response to the shocking death of unarmed Black man George Floyd and the international fury it’s ignited.

As widely documented, Floyd’s death at the hands of Minnesota police officers has amplified discourse about racial inequality – which Trump weighed-in on.

Swift, however, is not entertaining anything he has to say.

As we reported here, last year reality star-turned-beauty-mogul Kylie Jenner was at the center of a controversial debate on her ‘self-made billionaire status’ after Forbes magazine crowned her such thanks to the sale of her Kylie Cosmetics company (which the Wall Street Journal reported was a deal worth $1.2 billion at the time).

However, Forbes took to print Friday (May 29) to refute the year-old claim, even stating the company “is significantly smaller, and less profitable than the family has spent years leading the cosmetics industry and media outlets to believe.”

Though its arrival was rumored for weeks, Britney Spears sent fans into a frenzy Thursday (May 28) when she formally announced that she would release ‘Mood Ring (By Demand),’ to global streaming services – a bonus track from her 2016 album, ‘Glory.’

Holding tight to even the slightest hint of “new music,” the song has already topped iTunes USA merely hours after its release – ousting previous frontrunner, Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande‘s ‘Rain On Me,’ in the process.

As we reported here in November, Gabrielle Union was unexpectedly fired from her judge role on season 14 of NBC’s hit reality talent show, ‘America’s Got Talent’ – move that led the actress to express concerns about the show’s ‘toxic work culture’ to the network’s Human Resources department.

After NBC initially responded to Union’s claims with a statement that praised the series’ long history of “inclusivity and diversity,” the official investigation – made public this month as we reported here – found her claims to have no merit.

The investigation’s findings came ahead of the ‘Being Mary Jane’ star’s first publicized interview about her time on the show, featured on the most recent edition of ‘Variety.’

Though 6 years separated Christina Aguilera fans – affectionately called #Fighters – from her 2012 album, ‘Lotus,’ and its follow-up, ‘Liberation,’ the GRAMMY-winning belter promised there wouldn’t be nearly as long a gap for the latter’s successor.

In fact, while hot on the promotion for the 2018 LP she revealed she had already begun sorting through material to line the yet-titled opus (click here to read more).  Nearly two years later, with her live experiences scrapped due to the coronavirus pandemic (as we reported here), Aguilera took to social media recently to report her focus has re-shifted to putting the finishing touches on what will be her 7th studio album.
