As we reported here, seasoned actress Meagan Good has been subjected to months of murmurs surrounding her alleged practice of skin bleaching – a tactic of using creams or surgical procedures to lighten one’s complexion.
Although she took to social media over the weekend to silence critics who have long accused her of engaging in the practice, the response to her explanation incited elaboration – as delivered via a recent interview with ‘Where is the Buzz TV’ (May 21).

As we reported here, Lana Del Rey got tongues wagging when she took to social media Thursday (May 21) to announce her new album – the follow-up to 2019’s ‘Norman F*cking Rockwell’ – would be arriving this fall.
In a lengthy post, the GRAMMY-nominee outlined the LP’s hold-up has been due in part to criticism she’s fielded regarding some of the subject matter of her depressing emotional songs. Along the way, however, she probably lost support when she specifically name-dropped Beyoncé, Camila Cabello, Nicki Minaj, and Doja Cat (among others) as fellow female acts who ‘wear no clothes’ and ‘sing about f*cking.’
“Now that Doja Cat, Ariana, Camila, Cardi B, Kehlani, Nicki Minaj and Beyoncé have had number ones with songs about being sexy, wearing no clothes, fucking, cheating etc. – can I please go back to singing about being in love even if the relationship is not perfect, or dancing for money – or whatever I want – without being crucified or saying that I’m glamorizing abuse?????” – Del Rey, 2020
Her emphasis on Urban acts, opting to omit the Lady Gaga‘s, Katy Perry‘s, Taylor Swift‘s, and co., was certainly unappreciated by some music fans and – as a result – made her one of the day’s lead trending topics on Twitter.
Practically pissing off every major stanbase in music simultaneously, Del Rey was dragged mercilessly.

As previously reported, Lanez confirmed ‘Toronto’ would be his last release under Interscope Records and its successors – which has now been delivered in the form of new song ‘Temperature Rising’ – would be his first offerings as an independent act.
“Temperature’s risin’ / And I’m fantasizin’ bout’ givin’ it to you /Givin’ you somethin’ / Won’t lie, it’s somethin’ I wanna do to you / We got all night, girl, we can take it slowly / Look back at it and shake it for me / ‘Cause only I can make you feel the way you feel / Time to make you feel it for real,” he relays on the bedroom-ready bop.

The drama started Saturday (May 18) during the rapper’s #VERZUZ showdown with fellow emcee Nelly. While cranking out their respective hits, Luda (born Christopher Bridges) previewed an unreleased song which featured the line:
“I love R.Kelly but around my daughters, I’m not comfortable.”
After the lyric sparked backlash, Bridges took to an interview with radio personality Big Tigger to clear up any confusion about his intent.
