Accurately hailed as the British Grammy Awards, the BRIT Awards whipped many a fan base into a Brit-Pop frenzy last night, when they announced their nominations for its 2014 offering.

Airing live from the 02 Arena on February 19th, the ceremony will welcome the likes of Ella Eyre (pictured above) to its home to celebrate what 2013 brought to music and showcase the acts set to fare just as well in 2014.

Remy Ma and Fat Joe have re-teamed for ‘Outta Control’ alongside hitmakers Cool & Dre.

A fiery anthem, the track lives up to its title. Particularly in regards to Remy, who seizes on the song to pop off about her infamous conviction.

As widely reported, the femcee served almost seven years in jail after being found guilty of assault and illegal weapon possession in 2008. She was deemed legally liable for the shooting of a friend following a dispute over money.

After a measured silence about the matter, Remy raps about it on ‘Outta Control.’ And her bars have raised eyebrows in earnest.

For, the superstar has bagged a seismic 17 nominations at the upcoming People’s Choice Country Awards 2024.

Queen Bey has placed in categories such as Artist of 2024, Song of 2024, and Collaboration of 2024.

Hosted by icon Shania Twain, the People’s Choice Country Awards 2024 will air live on Thursday, September 26 at 8 p.m. ET / PT across NBC and Peacock from the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville.

Donald Glover‘s goodbye to his longtime stage moniker Childish Gambino comes as a musical sendoff via the jam-packed album ‘Bando Stone & the New World.’

“It really was just like, ‘Oh, it’s done.’ It’s not fulfilling,” the actor-rapper recently admitted about the alter ego. “And I just felt like I didn’t need to build in this way anymore…I’m not 25 anymore, standing in front of a boulder like, ‘This has to move.'”

Released Friday (July 19), the 17-track affair – which comes as Gambino’s fifth studio effort and shares its name with Glover’s forthcoming film – is led to chart battle by the warmly received singles ‘Lithonia‘ and ‘In the Night.’

His first album in four years, ‘Bando’ boasts guest appearances from Flo Milli, Amaarae, Foushee, Yeat, Legend, and more.
