8-time Grammy winner Usher may still be in the middle of taping his first season of NBC‘s top rated singing competition ‘The Voice’, but that didn’t stop him from dropping by ‘Ellen’ today with the official announcement of his return to the show for another season.

Miami dance machine Jason Derulo puts a new spin on his choreography-laden visual for ‘The Other Side’ – the first single from his third album of the same name.

Putting the scope more on the divo’s daring dance moves, the newly spun version of the tune comes shortly after the tune blasted to Billboard’s top 40 on the hems of digital sales and streaming.

In an industry which sees a song’s legacy determined more by its push than its quality alone, Miguel is moulding himself a modern-day classic with ‘Adorn’.

More than a year removed from the song’s release, the eclectic crooner is still pushing the Grammy Award winning cut, with his latest stop being on the BBC’s ‘Later…With Jools Holland’ tonight.

The airborne singer is here in London town for his opening act slot on Alicia Keys‘ ‘Set The World On Fire Tour’, which hits the iconic O2 Arena on Friday.

It’s hard to believe that seven months after the release of her seventh album ‘Unapologetic’, Rihanna has only released two songs from the critically-panned set. Some cite the blockbuster success of ‘Diamonds’, while others point to the commencement of her current world tour. Whatever the case, the renown “singles queen” hasn’t necessarily lived up to her billing of late.

Clearly keen to change that, tabloid darling is gearing up to release two cuts  – ‘Pour It Up’ for Urban and ‘Right Now (ft. David Guetta)’ for Pop, the latter of which saw its cover unwrapped moments ago.

 Can the dancey number revive the sales of its parent album, which to-date has sold less than 1 million copies in the US (despite its Platinum certification for shipments)? Take a listen and decide after the jump….

Afro-Pop queen Tiwa Savage is finally set to release her debut album, ‘Once Upon A Time’.

Literally years in the making, the hotly anticipated set will finally arrive on iTunes on June 14th.

Preceded by wildly popular singles ‘Kele Kele’, ‘Love Me, Love Me’, and ‘Without My Heart’, the LP’s cover and tracklisting were unwrapped this week.

As an act whose success narrative spans continents countless stars can only dream of, Savage blends on the LP the best of Afro-Beats (Don Jazzy, Wande Coal, and more) with efforts from Western hitmakers such as Warren “Oak” Felder (Rihanna, Chris Brown, Alicia Keys) and Harmony (Fantasia, Destiny’s Child).

It’s a practice which speaks to Tiwa’s International appeal; indeed, the diva was bred in the UK, where she appeared on The X Factor, relocated to America where she signed with Sony Music as a songwriter — penning hits for the likes of Monica and Fantasia, going on to become a star in her own right back in her motherland thereafter. Quite the story, and so it seems, quite the album.

K. Michelle may have quite the slick mouth, however it’s becoming increasingly clear that there’s a method in the madness.

For, since the return of her hit show ‘Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta’, the soulful songstress has served up something new musically each week. Her latest offering? ‘Half Of It’.

The buzz cut, a Rihanna cover which is being rolled out in support of Michelle’s new album ‘Rebellious Soul’, plays more like a confessional than a traditional “single”. Yet, in true “K” form, it’s a must-hear from the very first line.

Snapped at Lisbon’s MEO Arena, the pair’s shot was taken weeks after the KFC Arabia spokesman scored his 200th girl for Madrid during their May 8th match against Al Thani’s Malaga CF.

It also comes after Rihanna‘s chart topping rival Beyonce saw her latest Box Office hit ‘Epic‘ gross  85 million dollars worldwide in its opening week.
