Beyonce‘s ability to “beast” on the mic is so pronounced that it’s oft easy to forget her ability to “beast” without one.

Case, point her titillating showing at Usher‘s ‘Live From Puerto Rico’ concert special in 2005.

Both at the top of their game (a place they each remain today), the pair had spent the years preceding appearing on each others’ songs and videos. And yet, prior to this show-stopping performance, they had not taken to the stage together.

Yet, as the age old adage goes: good things come to those who wait.

The duo all sorts of smashed their showing of ‘Bad Girl’, a cut lifted from Usher’s diamond-selling ‘Confessions’ LP. Indeed, watching this back serves as ample evidence if ever needed as to why both acts are two of the industry’s biggest.

And with both Bey and Ush prepping new projects, this has us hoping they pair up once again!

Opening up for the first time on the topic, the femcee revealed that a succession of lawsuits and label drama have kept her from officially releasing new music, and at one point left her indebted to a former label.

Back in December, on the set of Madonna‘s clip for ‘Give Me All  Your Luvin’, the star showcased her softer side when she surprised Nicki Minaj with a mini party, in honor of the femcee’s birthday.

While audio of the shindig surfaced here a while back, today saw the arrival footage, which sees the Material Girl kiss Minaj in the full gaze of the video’s cast and crew, after wishing her a Happy Birthday.

After collaborating with her during her time on the X Factor, many believed Will. I.Am was to sign Cher Lloyd, in a bid to launch her career Stateside.

Today brings with it the global release of Madonna‘s twelfth studio album, ‘MDNA’.

Given the length and breath of the Material Girl’s success, the LP’s arrival has been a three month long “event”. One which saw the 53 year old rock the Super Bowl, release singles ‘Give Me All Your Luvin” and ‘Girl Gone Wild’ (along with their accompanying videos), and announce a world tour.

Together, these have proved a potent potion for whipping up excitement amongst fans. Indeed, as at writing ‘MDNA’ sits at #1 on iTunes tally’s in a whopping 17 countries.

And, yet there remain certain pockets of press who simply aren’t swallowing her youth-soaked sing-a-long songs. Many have christened such material beneath her and not at all what she she should be serving up at this stage of her career.

Little Miss Sunshine aka Willow Smith certainly looked the part of a ‘Fireball’ when she debuted her glowing yellow hair at Los Angeles’ ‘The Grove” yesterday.  The youngest of the Smith clan, who is said to be whipping up her Spring-due debut album ‘Knees and Elbows’, was all smiles during the trip accompanied by friends.
