As if ‘Give Me All Your Luvin’ wasn’t bad enough, Madonna and Nicki Minaj have teamed up yet again to beat the dead horse that is: juvenile dance-pop music.

Listen to the duo’s second collaboration lifted from Madge’s upcoming album ‘MDNA’ after the jump and sound-off below.

Yesterday, in what set the net alight, Beyonce confirmed her return to the stage- two months after delivering her daughter, Blue Ivy.

By way of her team, she requested fans meet at New York’s Times Square for the unveiling of a video installation- which according to ‘Designed By Memory’– would turn the area into a ‘giant Beyonce’.

Now peep her fans at Times Square this morning, performing her hit ‘Party’ in her honor below…

R&B star Ciara is fully embracing her blonde bombshell status.

Taking to Twitter today, Epic Records‘ newest signee shared these modelesque snaps.

Sporting a modified “sweep”, the 26 year old looked all sorts of fierce.

That said, we are gonna need to see more of these “playful” shots coming from the recording studio, though. And that’s not jumping on the “she needs to stop posing and get back to work” bandwagon. No. For, I fully believe she and mentor LA Reid are  deliberately playing coy in somewhat of a “calm before the storm” setup. However, coming off her last outing, one has to question if she can go “go ghost” when shoppers went all sorts of “Casper” on her when ‘Basic Instinct’ dropped.

We feel she’s about to bring the heat. She and her team just needs to remind everyone of that too.

In any case, peep another pic below…

Let the second search for ‘The Voice’ commence!

Hosted by Carson Daly, the US talent-search sees judges Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, Cee-Lo Green, and Blake Shelton conduct “blind auditions” in hope of finding the next big star. The winner of the competition lands major recording contract with Universal Republic.

Despite not suffering much of a ratings dip, the last series of The X Factor UK drew the harshest criticism in the show’s history.

Somewhat expected due to the all-new panel (which saw Kelly Rowland, Gary Barlow, and Tulisa Contostavlos join the melee), the media proceded to pelt each week with a succession of anti-X Factor stories.

A practice which dented both the show’s reputation and the ego of creator Simon Cowell – who left his role as a judge in 2010 to  focus on the US version.

And though still one of Britain’s most-watched entities, Cowell has this week gone on record to tease axing the show, while it’s ahead. The 52 year old is apparently so far gone with his stance that he’s already conceptualised a replacement should the forthcoming 9th season suffer further decline:

Via Digital Spy

Speaking at the press launch of Britain’s Got Talent, Cowell said:

“In a year’s time we might say, ‘Right, that’s the end of The X Factor. Let’s start something new. I’d rather fall off the cliff on numbers than deteriorate slowly.

We have something in development which could replace The X Factor. Most things in music, fashion or TV tend to be across a ten-year period.

The great test of success is if you can transcend a decade. I believe we can do it again if we’re prepared to be brave.”

Granted the blatant manipulation and soap opera antics became tiresome, we feel there’s some mileage left yet in the show. However,  this is only on the basis that plans to “tear up the rule book” come to fruition. Supposed changes include scrapping themed weeks, adding celeb mentors (Idol-style) and allowing acts to sing their own songs. Now, all they need to do is bin Tulisa and Louis and we’d be off to a great start!

Whoa mama!

Beyonce may be glowing in her embrace of motherhood after the birth of daughter Blue Ivy, but today saw the ‘End of Time’ beauty joined by the two ladies she calls ‘mom’ – Tina Knowles and mother-in-law Gloria Carter.  Stepping out today in a stunning blue, form fitting number, the hitmaker and fam were on hand at a New York City fundraiser for the Obama re-election campaign.

As ever, the singer’s return to form post-Blue is becoming more evident and was greeted with much fanfare after the announcement of her forthcoming return to stage.  Until the Queen Bey slays lessers again, get into these snaps of she and Blue’s proud grandparents below (thanks to Rap-Up):

Following her controversial cover of The Throne‘s N”gga’s In Paris‘ today, Katy Perry‘s mouth has landed her in more hot water.

For, in what can only force us to wonder just who she and Rihanna ‘chit chat’ about behind closed doors, the ‘Teenage Dreamer‘ has weighed in on Beyonce’s 2007 duet with Shakira, ‘Beautiful Liar‘.

Destiny’s Child divas Beyonce and Kelly Rowland continue to show that their friendship remains intact, as they travel down their solo paths.

‘Motivation’ singer Rowland was snapped arriving at her former bandmate’s New York apartment this afternoon for a catch up.

The 31 year old is reportedly in NYC for business, taking a brief break from recording her 4th studio album in Los Angeles – where she has and will be stationed for the duration of creation.

March 26th marks the release of ‘MDNA‘, the latest LP from Madonna.

Highly anticipated by fans and critics alike, the LP- though expected to fare poorly on the charts- precedes the icon’s ‘2012 World Tour‘, and her 12 minute set at Superbowl 2012, alongside MIA and Nicki Minaj.

Now, just days before its release, get into snippets from its deluxe edition below…

Earlier today, Beyonce set the net alight with confirmation of her return, two months after giving birth to her first child Blue Ivy.

Set to release the  single ‘End Of Time’ next month, it’s safe to say coming months will see her pick up where the ‘4‘ campaign left off in 2o11- a campaign, which many fans hoped would end with an ‘epic’ tour.

So now we ask:

If Beyonce was to announce a 2012 world tour, would you go?

Weigh in below…

Up until this year Melody Thorton was best known for the obligatory belted ad-libs found at the end of every Pussycat Dolls song. Since then Melody has been hard at work on her debut album, determined to make a name for herself as a solo artist before Nicole Scherzinger can.

On the heels of releasing her 10-track mixtape, ‘P.O.Y.B.L. (Piss On Your Black List)’ and a music video for ‘Lipstick & Guilt’, Thorton earned herself a gig singing ‘The Star Spangled Banner’ at the L.A. Marathon.

The national anthem is no easy song to sing as it requires a singer’s singer to appropriately tackle the technical complexity of its melody and the challenging vocal it demands.

Listen to Thorton belt her way through America’s favorite song after the jump and sound-off below.

In the heat of her hype, it’s  easy to forget how far Nicki Minaj has come from her days as a struggling MC.

For, putting her revival of Female Rap aside, her feats as an artist/aspiring mogul have been astounding to say the least.

From scoring a lucrative 360 deal with the folk over at Young Money , to negotiating her way into MAC‘s Viva Glam campaign, it’s clear to see that  her ‘rise to the top’ is down to her oft overlooked business savvy, and not her oh-so infamous ‘assets’.

Not convinced?
