After serving her strongest performance to date at the ‘Billboard Music Awards’ two nights ago, ‘Last Chance’ belle Nicki Minaj arrived in NYC to begin shooting her first big screen movie, ‘The Other Woman’.

Snapped making her way in and out of her trailer, the Grammy nominated MC- who holds the record for being the fastest selling Female MC after Lauryn Hill– was joined by long time friend Safaree Samuels and co-star Cameron Diaz as she shot scenes for the 20th Century Fox production, which also stars Kate Upton and Lady GaGa‘s alleged boyfriend, Taylor Kinney.

Fans of Ang Lee‘s ‘Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon‘ will be pleased to know that the flick’s sequel is on it’s way!

That’s right, 13 years after its December 8th 2000 release date, this year saw confirmation of its first follow up…billed ‘Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: The Green Destiny’.

Set to hit the world via The Weinstein Company’, the movie will be scripted by ‘The Forbidden Kingdom’s John Fusco and will star Michelle Yeoh– brought on to reprise her role as Yu Shu Lien.

As far as production goes? Harvey Weinstein joins David Thwaites to fulfil that role, both of whom will see the movie shot in both English and Mandarian once production kicks off in March 2014.

Pulled from Wang Dulu’s “Iron Knight, Silver Vase”, the action adventure’s plot will boast Donnie Yen (Shanghai Affairs, Blade II) as its lead character…taking on the role of Silent Wolf.

Kelly Rowland is wasting no time building on her X Factor USA buzz and has today placed new album ‘Talk A Good Game’ up for pre-order on iTunes.

Due June 18th, the set features production from the likes of The-Dream, Mike Will, and Pharrell Williams, while Ms. Kelly’s Destiny’s Child bandmates Beyonce and Michelle Williams make an appearance.

Five episodes into ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’s second season, the show’s leading lady K.Michelle has confirmed reports that she is to part ways with the series….and will head to its East Coast counterpart ‘Love & Hip Hop New York’.

Baring all on ‘The Breakfast Club’ today, her interview with the outlet also saw him dish on the hype surrounding her material and her long running feuds with a number of her former cast mates.

Kelly Rowland and her fellow X Factor USA comrades took front stage center today at the first taping of the FOX show’s new season in Charleston, SC.

Looking like a bag of money and good living, the ‘Dirty Laundry’ singer momentarily stepped in as Head Judge in the absence of Simon Cowell – who was running late due to travel complications. Upon his arrival, she took her seat — next to him.

Auditions are taking place as we type, yet fans in attendance have taken to social media to relay how well the new panel -which is completed  by Demi Lovato and Latin superstar Paulina Rubio – works together.

July 26th marks the release of ‘The Wolverine‘, the latest big screen offering to come from Marvel’s ‘X-Men’ franchise.

As murmurs of a brand new album Rihanna intensified in the last week, the Grammy winning trendsetter was snapped on her way into a Long Beach recording studio.

Hitting the spot shortly after returning from NYC, the Pop Princesses’ sighting did everything but dispel reports she is the preliminary stages of crafting a new LP, six months after the release of ‘Unapologetic’.

As anticipation for Beyonce‘s new album nears fever pitch, King B tides over her Hive with a guest spot on ‘Turnt’ – a new song on The-Dream‘s ‘IV Play’ album.

The gritty cut, which also features rapper 2 Chainz, is believed to be the next radio single from its parent album, which hits stores on May 28th.
