Judging by the looks of things, former X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger is keeping busy despite her unceremonious ousting from the hit talent show’s judging panel (along with fellow pop starlet Paula Abdul).  With rumors swirling that the Hawaiian hitmaker has rekindled romance with racer Lewis Hamilton, this ‘Poison’ performer’s pink slip was quickly succeeded with more good news – a new gig!

Set to make a splash as the new spokesperson for haircare line Herbal Essences, Scherzinger took to People magazine to share:

“It’s amazing,” she tells PEOPLE of the new gig. “I have a big grin on my face and I’m glowing. I’m really proud to be partnered with this brand.”

‘Good Good’ would be right .  Ashanti was certainly living up to such billing when she graced the premiere of the Denzel Washington-led ‘Safe House’ at the School of Visual Arts Theatre in New York City last night. The ‘Foolish’ singer flaunted a form-fitting dress matched with Louboutin heels and was snapped in a number of shots with film’s star, his wife, and her momanger Tina Douglas.

R&B diva Kelly Rowland is developing quite the “brand hustle”. Hard at work on her 4th studio album, the star has been tapped to serve as Access Hollywood‘s fashion correspondent at this Sunday’s Grammy Awards; a role she stopped by their studios to disuss today.

The ‘Motivation’ singer -who is set to be honored by Essence tonight- also beamed about Beyonce‘s baby Blue Ivy, her own Grammy nomination, rumours that she’s joining X Factor USA as as judge, and more.

The Queen of Pop Janet Jackson has spent the last month plugging NutriSystems healthy eating regime. And by the looks of the star last night, it’s working a sweet treat for her physique.

Rocking a noticeably slimmer frame, the diva was snapped leaving Los Angeles at the city’s L.A.X airport.

As history has taught any true music follower, a slimmed-down Janet usually spells a new project. A pattern we hope is re-affirmed here. For, as her ‘Number Ones’ tour showcased, there’s plenty more fuel in the tank.

Making somewhat of a detour…

Call it selfish, but yours truly is not here for the “she’s done did it all” excuse churned out far too often by easily appeased Janet fans. Madonna, love or loathe her, has rightly embraced today’s reality that even older artists can’t rest on the laurels of their heyday.

After all, in today’s “blink and you miss em” industry, many an act are only as hot as their last hit. And, as misguided as her recent shade towards Janet was, Ms. Jackson could indeed learn something from the Material Girl’s approach. For, the 00’s have seen her add many a new “moment” and “classic” to a career which was already legendary by the end of the 90’s. A position she shared with Janet.

I can only hope the necessary calls (preferably to Jimmy Jam, Terry Lewis, and Darkchild) have been made to ensure the newer generation are reminded of why she is who she is.

Anyway, enough of my rambling…

Destiny’s Child star and Broadway belle, Michelle Williams was snapped working the arrivals carpet at the Drama League’s 28th Benefit Gala last night in New York City.

And if you think the singer looks “different”, it’s because she does. Williams has teamed up with celebrity stylist June Ambrose for the fashion maven’s new show ‘Styled By June’ – which had its cameras rolling at the event.

Alexandra Burke ups her diva on the fierce cover for new single ‘Elephant’.

The monster Dance cut is set for release on March 12th, and saw its accompanying video premiere last week.

As longtime supporters of Ms. Burke, it’s great to see she is stepping it all the way up on this her second outing.

Lady GaGa whipped her ever-hyped Monsters into heightend frenzy today when she unveiled the official poster for her forthcoming ‘Born This Way Ball’ tour. It’s photoshopped mess, but it wouldn’t be “GaGa” if it wasn’t “out there”.

The artwork marks the latest drip-fed insight into the trek, which is is being launched to support the star’s ‘Born This Way’ LP.

To-date, the set has sold more than 8 million copies worldwide.

The singer, who gave birth to baby Blue Ivy last month, continues to rock her slim, yet curvaceous post-baby physique, accentuating it with a sparkling blue  Monique Lhuillier dress. How apt.
