Pop powerhouse Alexandra Burke lived up to her billing when she rocked BBC 1’s  Songs of Praise.

The X Factor alumni blew the roof off London’s Royal Albert Hall with a stellar rendition of ‘Hallelujah’ – the Leonard Cohen cut which served as her debut single in 2008.

Snapped at the Sugar Island Lounge, the snap comes just week after the surfacing of Layne’s latest single ‘Ten To One‘ and months after Rihanna‘s ‘Man Down’– which was co-written by Shontelle-  came under fire for its controversial theme and video.

As one of the highest selling Pop acts of the year, ‘Super Bass‘ Rapper Nicki Minaj recently celebrated the news that her debut album ‘Pink Friday’ had exceeded global sales of 2 million copies, since the project’s November 2010 release.

Now, in what will be sure to give both she and her team even more good news to smile about, the upbeat LP has enjoyed an unexpected sales boost in the UK this week.

To be exact, it has risen by a mind blowing 94 places on the UK album chart in the space of seven days.

Reportedly taken shortly before the ‘Catch Me‘ Rapper performed at the event, the image arrives months before the entertainer takes to the Super Bowl 2012 stage with Madonna and MIA to perform the single ‘Gimme All Your Luvin‘.

Rihanna kicked off 2012 on a positive note, choosing to wear her bra and panties under her clothes, and not instead of them.

The model rung in the New Year at CIROC‘s Miami end of year bash, which was hosted by Diddy, and saw the likes of NeNe Leakes and Vivica  A Fox also in attendance.

Also notable by his presence was Fenty’s former boyfriend, Matt Kemp, who you can spot hovering in the shot above. Could it be a rekindled romance for the pair? Who knows. Who cares. We just hope McFenty rekindles her relationship with a vocal coach and choreographer. {Source}

The last 15 years has seen Beyonce establish a work ethic like no other. As such, rumours of her child’s arrival were never going to slow down the promo train for her latest LP ‘4’. Case, point, her “appearance” on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve last night.

Much to the chagrin of her detractors, the singer offered a previously-recorded performance of ‘I Was Here’ – ironically stealing the show despite not being there.

The 25 year old, who saw in last year with a huge promotional blitz for her ‘Born This Way’ project, – celebrated the fruits of those efforts by performing a medley of tracks from the mega-successful opus on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.

It’s surreal to think that That Grape Juice is now entering its fifth year online. Oh how time flies when you’re having fun! It’s been such a blessed journey for us in so many ways; a journey I thank you all sincerely for coming along with us on. I really look forward to steering That Grape Juice to amazing new heights in 2012 (we’ve got A LOT in the pipeline…watch this space!)
