Alicia Keys and hip hop hitmaker Pharrell are just two of Urban music’s brightest stars dropping redos on the latest covers of ‘Dazed & Confused’ magazine.  The popular publication is celebrating its 20th anniversary in a big way – by having 20 of its previous cover stars revisit the magazine’s front.  Dazed co-founder and photographer Rankin also includes a foldout giving shine to a “rising star” nominated by each cover star.

‘I Got This’ diva Jennifer Hudson certainly got her fair-share of praise from her recent December 2011 cover of Ebony magazine.  The issue, which hits newsstands November 29th, precedes the songstress’ forthcoming ventures including her book, two movies, and visual for her third single ‘I Got This’.  The cover story sees J.Hud cover many a topic including her engagement to pro wrestler David Otunga, motherhood, rumors of her (at one time) dropping to a size 0, and more.

Although you’ve already seen the cover, fans have been invited into the behind the scenes action of the shoot.  Your view awaits after the jump:

Fans should expect to see much of ‘Poker Face’ performer Lady Gaga in the coming weeks.  With her ‘Monster’s Ball’ DVD hitting stores yesterday and ‘”A Very Gaga Thanksgiving” set to air this Thursday on ABC, the promo machine is still hard at work.  These happenings, of course, accompany the buzz that is still having little monsters on edge for her forthcoming ‘Marry The Night’ clip.

As if all of this is not enough, the ‘Judas’ singer joins many-a-diva in spreading holiday cheer with her own ‘A Very Gaga Holiday’ – a collection of recordings from this Thursday’s airing.  The EP, already making its rounds in the U.S., drops November 26th in the UK.

As studio albums go, Leona Lewis boasts a talent which should see her selling records by the bucketload ala fellow Brit Adele. However, as her sophomore set and serially delayed 3rd album have shown, things haven’t quite played out as such for the LA-based Londoner.

Indeed, following the so-so performance of her latest single ‘Collide’ this Summer, her 3rd opus ‘Glassheart’ was bumped to next year, much to the chargin of her fans.

However, a ray of light has emerged in the form of a new EP which Lewis is lining up for release much sooner than you may think.

Say what you will about Rihanna and her ‘voice‘, but the last few years have proved that when it comes to fashion- she certainly knows how to put a mean outfit together.

As earlier reported, Kelly Rowland is keeping her momentum going with not one, but two new music videos.

The first of which, ‘Keep It Between Us’, is being shot in Paris as we type – with the singer sharing a shot from the set on her official website a few moments ago. Actor Lance Goss serves as the 30 year old’s lead love interest.

A clip for fellow ‘Here I Am’ cut ‘Feeling Me Right Now’ is set to be shot in London shortly.

Kelly Rowland may still be in the midst of promoting her current album, ‘Here I Am’, but that hasn’t stopped the Destiny’s Child alum from commencing work on its follow-up.

We spoke to the ‘Motivation’ singer earlier this month, a chat which saw her exclusively reveal details of the project to That Grape Juice; the most notable being that the LP will be out much sooner than expected.

Whatever the exact release date, it’s clear preparations are clearly underway to capitalise on Rowland’s 2011 success moving into 2012. And with many feeling that the ball was somewhat dropped with this project, there are calls for album #4 to right the wrongs of its predecessor. Such calls largely centre around promotion, however continued relevance in the industry often boils down to innovating and serving up something “new” with each release.

As such, we want to know what YOU think Kelly’s next album “should” sound like.

Confused?

The singer, whose video for new single ‘Marry The Night’ is expected any day now, is currently re-structuring her team ahead of a tour next year after severing ties with creative director Laurieann Gibson recently.
