Aside from the release of his sophomore album ‘Future History’ tomorrow, Miami dance machine Jason Derulo has quite a few reasons to celebrate given his recent successes on charts both sides of the pond.  Seen stepping out with ‘One Step At a Time’ songstress Jordin Sparks, the ‘Don’t  Wanna Go Home’ hitmaker was said to be extending the celebration of his September 21st birthday at Philippe Chow Restaurant in West Hollywood last night.

The Whitney Houston-led remake of famed 1976 musical ‘Sparkle’ is adding more star power as the weeks go by.  The latest addition comes in the form of singers R. Kelly and Cee Lo Green.  Reports indicate that Green has been tapped to join the cast that already features the likes of American Idol alum Jordin Sparks and comedian Mike Epps.

Kelly, who also contributed to Houston’s own latest chart-topper ‘I Look To You’, will oversee the album’s soundtrack (which is said to feature music from Sparks, Green, and the ‘I Will Always Love You’ belter herself).

With the remake relocated from Harlem to Detroit during the height of the ‘Motown’ era, fans will be pleased to know that production is set to start in coming weeks.
