Kelly Rowland may still be in the midst of promoting her current album, ‘Here I Am’, but that hasn’t stopped the Destiny’s Child alum from commencing work on its follow-up.

We spoke to the ‘Motivation’ singer earlier this month, a chat which saw her exclusively reveal details of the project to That Grape Juice; the most notable being that the LP will be out much sooner than expected.

Whatever the exact release date, it’s clear preparations are clearly underway to capitalise on Rowland’s 2011 success moving into 2012. And with many feeling that the ball was somewhat dropped with this project, there are calls for album #4 to right the wrongs of its predecessor. Such calls largely centre around promotion, however continued relevance in the industry often boils down to innovating and serving up something “new” with each release.

As such, we want to know what YOU think Kelly’s next album “should” sound like.

Confused?

The singer, whose video for new single ‘Marry The Night’ is expected any day now, is currently re-structuring her team ahead of a tour next year after severing ties with creative director Laurieann Gibson recently.

Beyonce is drumming up a bevy of buzz for her ‘Live at Roseland: Elements of 4’ DVD (released today).  With her already devoted legion of fans pledging purchase of the project, the singer looks to entice to undecided with more releases from the set.

Hosting a live visual of her greatest hits (and gems from acclaimed album ‘4’), the album also contains official video accompaniment to most of the songs on the parent album.  And, as ‘Countdown’ and ‘Love On Top’ quickly became fan favorites, Bey’s succeeding venture ‘Party’ (featuring J. Cole) has surely joined the bunch.

Hot mama! ‘Touch My Body’ diva Mariah Carey has taken every opportunity to show off her new body as she makes her rounds as the new spokesperson for ‘Jenny’.  Exciting her ever-faithful legion of fans, Roc and Roe’s mom tweeted this photo of her hard at work at her forthcoming, yet-titled album (the follow-up to 2009’s quickly forgotten ‘Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel’).

With claims that ‘pregnancy has made her voice stronger’, here’s hoping that ol Mimi can deliver on that claim.  For it is certainly unbecoming of a diva whose vocals once soared to the high heavens and shattered windows on Mt. Olympus to back-track and autotune her way through generic R&B hits.  While the world anxiously awaits her return, we definitely hope the singer is collecting an assortment of producers who can help her remain relevant with contemporary R&B while reviving the sound that made her famous in the first place.

Since her well documented arrival on the music scene four years ago, Ms. Onika Maraj has found it impossible to escape polarized opinion.

Revolutionary to some whilst repulsive to others, it wasn’t long before she had found her way to the forefront of Urban culture for more than just her animated lyrical style and Pro-beauty approach to her aesthetic.

Lending her talents to the likes of Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera and Kanye West all before the release of her record-breaking LP ‘Pink Friday‘, the former waitress built up a fan base of keyboard happy mini-me’s who unknowingly helped her publicists to turn the entertainer into a social media magnet.

YouTube and Twitter being responsible for the acquistion of many of her international fans who were not yet able to access her in their own domestic market.

With her debut album now the third highest selling LP to be released by a female artist for 2010/2011, Nicki Minaj is undeniably Rap’s most celebrated sensation.

However, seemingly in sync with the consistency of her record sales is one undying criticism of her.

That she is inauthentic.

That Nicki Minaj is nothing more than a gimmick with a Mattelic heartbeat.
