R&B diva Kelly Rowland jetted off for brief West Indian getaway this week.

The singer and pal LaLa Vasquez soaked up the Turks & Caicos, where they also posed for this pic.

Rowland, 30, is currently gearing up for a promotional tour to support her new single ‘Motivation’ – which is blowing up at Urban radio.

This week’s From The Vault comes from one of the most notable 1-hit wonders of the US. Blu Cantrell released ‘Hit ‘Em Up Style (Oops!)’ as the 1st single from her debut album, ‘So Blu’, in 2001. Written and produced by Dallas Austin, the song remains her only top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at #2.

‘Hit ‘Em Up…’ was certainly an anthem for many in the early period of the last decade. The catchy melody of the chorus made it virtually inescapable in the summer of 2001 with Cantrell’s powerful vocals booming from every clothing store and car radio.

Cantrell may be a 1-hit wonder but she is certainly an exceptionally talented singer. Although, ‘Breathe (Ft. Sean Paul)’ topped the Official UK Singles Chart in 2003, whether she will be able to score another hit in the US, however, remains to be seen.

Fans are his everything, and Chris Brown appears adamant that they go home satisfied after attending his upcoming ‘F.A.M.E Tour’. The ‘Yeah 3x’ singer shared footage of the tour’s rehearsal with fans on his lifestyle site Mechanical Dummy – and if this is any indication of what to expect, concert goers are in for a treat.

The worldwide trek, which kicks off later this month, set to touch down in North America, Europe, and Australasia.

Though the song doesn’t call for sheer vocal horsepower, it does demand great vocal control – which Lana displayed bountifully. Perhaps not as effortless as Kelly’s version, yet solid all the same.

Jennifer Lopez has finally revealed the official tracklist for her much-delayed ‘Love?’ LP. The album, which serves as the entertainer’s 1st released on Island Def Jam, features all-star contributions from Lady Gaga, Stargate, Tricky Stewart, The-Dream, Danja and others.
