Drake appears to have been spending time in the studio, because he has a new song and it samples one of the world’s most famous faces.

On March 31, Drake was a guest on ‘The Fri Yiy Show,’ where he premiered his new song ‘Rescue Me.’

On the song, he raps:

I need someone to be patient with me / Someone to get money with, not take it from me / They don’t even need to be as famous as me.

However, halfway through the song, a clip of Kim Kardashian can be heard, where she talks about her divorce.

“I didn’t come this far just to come this far and not be happy. Remember that,” she says.

There is currently not a release date for the project as of reporting.

Xscape and SWV have had newsfeeds in a tizzy with their reality series ‘SWV & Xscape: The Queens of R&B.’

The hit series chronicles the iconic groups as they prepare for an epic joint show comprised of their biggest hits.

Beyond celebrating the music that has been the soundtrack to so many lives, the core of the chaos thus far has been Xscape’s internal issues and bubbling beef with SWV over whether their concert will be jointly billed or headlined by the ‘My Little Secret’ songbirds.

On the finale (episode 6), which airs this coming Sunday, viewers will see whether the ensembles are able to make the concert come together – all the while navigating how undone the relationship between sisters Tamika Scott and LaTocha Scott has become.

Amaka is ready for her close-up.

The eclectic singer once served as one-half of  sister duo VanJess.

With the group having announced its disbanding last month, the 29-year-old is pressing forward on her own and she’s wasting no time showcasing her solo gravitas.

Rebranding as Amaka (a nod to her Nigerian heritage), the vocalist has teamed with 2x GRAMMY winner Kaytranada for her debut single ‘Crusin.’

A delicious slice of soulful dance, the track makes clear that Amaka is staking her own claim sonically.
