Who?

That will, no doubt, be the question on the lips of many at the mention of Nicola Roberts. However, as many of our UK readers will know, the 25 year old is no stranger to the spotlight.

Indeed the red-head has spent the better part of 10 years sharing the spotlight with new X Factor USA judge Cheryl Cole, as part of  successful British group Girl Aloud.

Now, following in footsteps of Cole and the band’s lead singer Nadine Coyle, Roberts is stepping out on her own with the help of an all-star cast of producers. The most notable being Diplo.

Responsible for Beyonce‘s ‘Run The World’, the hitmaker has crafted Roberts’ debut effort ‘Beat of My Drum’ – the lead release from her forthcoming LP ‘Cinderella’s Eyes’. The quirky cut arrives at digital outlets on June 5th via Polydor /Universal Music.

Can “the quiet one” strike it lucky on her own? Time will most certainly tell.

Due to scheduling conflicts, Fantasia‘s upcoming London show on May 13th has been postponed.

The singer’s hotly anticipated return to the UK stage will now take place on June 7th – at the same venue, London’s indig02.

Purchased tickets are indeed valid for the new date, with there still being limited tickets available from Ticketmaster (Click here to buy).

Pop star Jennifer Lopez swapped the judging panel for the stage tonight when she performed on ‘American Idol‘.

Lopez, 41, wowed with an electrifying debut performance of her global smash ‘On The Floor’. It’s hoped the high-profile slot will give a much needed boast to the singer’s ‘LOVE?’ LP; which looks set to arrive on the Billboard 200 with disappointing figures.

Moments ago the video for Nicki Minaj‘s latest single ‘Super Bass‘ was released. The single, which can be found on the deluxe edition of her ‘Pink Friday‘ album, is now the fourth from the record to receive the visual treatment.

To date, ‘Pink Friday’ has sold 1,342,000 copies in the US alone.

Chris Brown celebrated his 22nd birthday today by reverting back to his blonde do’.

The singer is currently riding a wave of success, which has seen his ‘F.A.M.E’ LP certified Gold and sitting pretty within the top 20 of the Billboard 200. Call it a comeback!

Pop icon Janet Jackson was all smiles recently when she posed it up with half-sister Joh’Vonnie Jackson.

Now many may scratch their heads at the mention of ‘half-sister’. However, as any Jackson enthusiast knows, Joh’Vonnie is indeed the younger sister of Janet, Michael, and co. Family patriarch, Joe, fathered the 32 year old out of wedlock, leading to her being estranged from her siblings for a number of years.

All, it appears, is now well; with Janet inviting not only Joh’Vonnie, but brother Jermaine, sister Rebbie, and their children to the Las Vegas stop of her ‘Number Ones: Up, Close, & Personal Tour’.
