Justin Timberlake made his grand return to the televised stage this evening on Saturday Night Live.
The 42-year-old chart-topper is firing from all cylinders with the campaign for his new album ‘Everything I Thought It Was’ (due March 15) and its lead single ‘Selfish.’
Lighting a match under all with his SNL showing, Timberlake performed his current single and seized the moment to debut a fresh cut from the LP christened ‘Sanctified.’
The latter saw the hitmaker joined on stage by Tobe Nwigwe, who features on the track.

As reported, JT’s first album in six years – ‘Everything I Thought It Was’ – arrives on March 15 and is preceded by single ‘Selflish.’
Ahead of settling on the final incarnation of the LP and its lead offering, the 42-year-old has revealed in a new interview with Apple Music‘s Zane Lowe that he “ended up with 100 songs” by the end of his recording process.
Elsewhere during the candid chat, the performer opened up about what folk can expect from the album, performing on Saturday Night Live, and more.
The interview comes amidst a firestorm of activity from fans of Timberlake’s ex, Britney Spears. Indeed, as reported, the “Britney Army” is mounting quite the offensive by running up sales of her song ‘Selfish’ to block sales of his like-titled offering.

Just last night alone pop princess Britney Spears and Katy Perry dropped their long-awaited new releases. For fans of Spears, the new song, ‘Make Me,‘ came after a year-long await and followed the failed, Iggy Azalea-assisted ‘Pretty Girls.’ For #KatyCats, the tune, ‘Rise,’ follows releases found from her 2013 chart-topping set ‘Prism.’
Spears may have shot to #1 on iTunes quicker than her competitor, but Perry’s fanbase is already ‘roaring’ loud and clear as they (as of time reporting) have hoisted their leader to the digital tally’s top spot.
Yet, while the two pop princesses are getting the most buzz around their respective releases, fans of Tinashe are still moving and grooving to her Dream-produced cut ‘Superlove.‘ The song, also released last night, is getting a thumbs up from some of the same critics who can’t keep their fingers off the ‘play’ button to bump July’s other hot releases – Fergie‘s ‘M.I.L.F. $’ and Zayn‘s ‘Cruel.’
