Nicki Minaj is currently hard at work filming the video for her new single, ‘Your Love’, from her yet-to-be-named debut album. Between scenes the rapper spoke to MTV News and highlighted that the song, which is the 1st single by a female rapper (as a lead artist) in 8.5 years to hit #1 on the Billboard Rap chart, was actually not intended to be a single. Things appear to be going from bad to worse for struggling trio ‘Girlicious’. Ousting members, drug scandal, and poor chart performance, have come to characterise what was once-billed as the new Pussycat Dolls (not that that was ever saying much).

With their most recent effort ‘Maniac’ flopping on an epic scale (even tanking in their biggest market – Canada), the ladies will no doubt be hoping that new single ‘Drank’ sparks interest.
