The highly anticipated Barbie‘ movie may boast a star-studded cast (Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, Will Ferrell, Issa Rae, etc.), but its accompanying soundtrack is set to be just as jam-packed.

Featuring contributions from Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice, Lizzo, Charli XCX, and more, the film’s companion album looks to be just as eagerly awaited as flick itself – a stance particularly taken by Dua Lipa fans as the GRAMMY winner not only stars in ‘Barbie’ but also owns its soundtrack’s first single.

Titled ‘Dance the Night,’ the disco-flavored, Mark Ronson-produced bop comes as Lipa’s first solo track since she released the deluxe edition of her critically acclaimed sophomore album ‘Future Nostalgia’ in 2021.

Taylor Swift sprung quite the surprise earlier this week when she announced to her dedicated fans (affectionately called #Swifties) she would be lifting the lid on yet another deluxe edition to her blockbuster tenth studio album, ‘Midnights.’

While her inaugural revamp of the 2022 set included exclusive all-new songs, this version – titled the ‘Til Dawn Edition’is updates existing ‘Midnights’ tracks.

The first taste of the project’s offerings come courtesy of the Ice Spice-assisted ‘Karma.’

“Karma is your chеcks by the bounce (Damn) / Karma is the fire in your house (Grrah) / And she ’bout to pop up unannounced (Like) / And she never leavin’ you alone (Damn),” Ice and Tay spit on the Sounwave-produced remix.

DaBaby may be enjoying his first solo run on the Hot 100 since being effectively “canceled” two years ago for controversial remarks deemed homophobic, but the GRAMMY nominee isn’t resting on his laurels.

Already moving on to the follow-up of his current hit, ‘Shake Sumn,‘ the rapper (born Jonathan Kirk) is hoping to shake up the charts even more with the Offset-assisted ‘Sellin Crack.

As reported, the pioneering superstar passed away aged 83 after a prolonged illness.

‘The Little Mermaid’ is here!

Disney‘s reimagining of the beloved tale makes history with Halle Bailey in the lead role of Ariel – signifying the first time the character has been portrayed by a Black woman.

The film at large, which easily serves as one of the year’s most eagerly anticipated offerings, celebrates diversity in all its forms and is already being hailed a game-changing ahead of its global release on May 26.

That Grape Juice was on-hand at the London premiere of ‘The Little Mermaid’ and caught up with Bailey, as well as the film’s cast such as Jonah Hauer-King, Daveed Diggs, and more. All of whom spoke about the seismic impact of this version of the classic narrative.

Having already sat on radio and chart thrones with her bevy of dancefloor-ready hits, ‘Queen of Bounce’ Big Freedia is looking to extend that reign to TV ratings with ‘Big Freedia Means Business.’

Delivered by ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ producer World of Wonder, the eight-part docuseries follows Freedia as she navigates the ups-and-downs of success, new business ventures, and trying to balance fame with personal relationships.

“World of Wonder has been so graciously involved in the telling of my life, I am beyond thrilled that the series will air on WOW Presents Plus in the U.K. I’m excited to tell my story, share my hard work and for this documentary series to showcase a side of me that many won’t have had the chance to see yet,” Freedia shared in an official statement.
